I'm surprised more of those haven't been covered or re-released. Just saw someone list the Breakfast Club to get on DVD, the soundtrack to that and "the soundtrack that never was" to Ferris Bueller's Day Off are recommended listening - Oh Yeah (Yello)

One of the best of the 80's, that's for sure.

For Album of the decade it's between U2's Joshua Tree or Stone Roses (IMHO)

For the memories it gave me, a student in Newcastle - Stone Roses

Absolutely agree about U2..... but the Stone Roses was never quite me cup of tea though.

It's funny how brain works. This morning I got up with this song in my mind, I dunno what I was dreaming.

Normally I'm not fan of Brazilian music, but this was a total hit around here:

The Lambada

Almost in the nineties, but it was 1989. Great summer song, and a very sexy dance to watch (I wonder how good would be our avid dancer BadBob with this :D )
