Like this one as well....although the 'less clappy' version is better.

Love that track!  Going way back there matey.

The syncopated bass riff is sooooo typical of the time (and still great  :;): ) You can feel a tight groove and almost sounds like it could explode into some kind of  'pseudo-reggae' style piece. That would work.....food for thought there. I'll dig out a couple of .wavs an have a shufty!

As for DM - one of my favourite bands. I can remember watching them on TOTP in the early 80's - think the track was 'See You'  (not 100%) And they had one of these on stage rolling in the background.

Iconic band. Always stick their stuff on now and again.

Kraftwerk i like as well....i love the early analog synth sounds anyway. One of my biggest regrets was not taking up an offer of a little old ARP Axxe (poor mans Odyssey!) some years back - for peanuts as well!  :no

Ah well.... I have to make do with VSTi's now - the hardship of it all  :D

remember first time i heard it i was walking back from bus stop in the darkness listening to it on my walkman and when it stop and then that scream happened i jumped for miles and sh it myself.

Remember Depeche Mode for years held the record for the biggest concert in the world when over 180 thousand (i think )saw them at the pasedena bowl in california . Violater was my fav album and the video for enjoy the silence was just weird . The hits album before that was great as well
