there is, an animated one and alive action, both in production as we type

How involved is George Lucas?  I shudder to think what kind of self-indulgent rubbish he'd inflict on a weekly audience. :no

How involved is George Lucas?

He'll be in charge of everything on the new shows.

This August a movie length CGI episode of "The Clone Wars" will be released in cinemas.

It will be followed by a Clone Wars CGI series on TV.

Then later in 2010 probably will come a live-action Star Wars series.

Right.  Count me out, then.  I've got the theatrical release versions of the Original Trilogy on DVD and I'll happily stick those on whenever I need a Star Wars fix.  George Lucas and his CGI fetish can fuck. right. off.  :glare:

dont listen to manhatton, george lucas is over seeing it but its being made by Dave Filoni who was in charge of te recent avatar cartoon. its based between eps 2 and 3 i believe and from what ive seen should be pretty cool.

then the live action will be more like the battlestar galactica series

The second series of Dexter is a real disappointment :( . More like a cross between a cheap porn movie and a bad soap. Especially disappointing after the first series was so good.

Anybody enjoy Weeds, I quite liked the first series but a holiday in Thailand and poor TV scheduling means I never got into the second series.

Watch first couple of episodes of Tudors and while its unfair comparsion havent found it  a patch on Rome

Yeah Peep show season 5 is finished. They only do 6 episodes per season.

It was good but not as good as it is used to be

Watched the pilot of JJ Abrams creation Fringe, while i certainly dont think its helped by being labelled as new X-files. Its certainly worth a watch, didnt grab me like the first episode of Lost. Hopefully it will have some legs

and why is it the heroes always have the same name?
in 24 its Jack Bauer, in Lost its Jack shephard, in Jericho is Jake Green.

too many jacks and jakes. I knew a guy called jack once, he was a pu$$y

My daughter went up London on Monday with her two mates to be in the audience of the new Denise Van Outen show which starts on Sat night.

Anyway while they where queing up to go in two fellas came along the que an asked them could they sing. Being stupid they said yes and gave a manky rendition of the spice girls , They were actually taking the p.iss. But the fella said follow me  they got taken into the hospitality room and told they were now contestants. so instead of being in the audience they all ended up on the show.

Watch out for three girls all sitting next to each other about 21 years old being :censored: drama queens. they cant sing to save there life not bad to look at though.

But i would say that im her mum

 Forgot to mention that one the other week when Woof wanted recommendations.  My missus loves and kept insisting I watch it but it just seemed like another cheesy sci-fi show with not nearly enough totty to be interesting. :D  Well, she wore me down and I watched a few episodes with her and got well hooked on it.  It's nothing overly special but the stories are fun, the dialogue is good and the classic rock takes me back!  Good show. :nod

BTW, the two brothers (lead characters) look remarkably like Xabi Alonso and Fabio Aurelio!  :D
