30 Rock is back on TV here, hurah

Have to say that last 3 episodes of BSG have been disappointing , hoping all that melodrama filler has been so its big SFX budget for the finale

Jury still out on Dollhouse after 4 episodes but its worth a look just to see Eliza bopping about :D

You mean you didn't dig on Tye coming out with lines like "isn't it enough if I fill the room with love?" :D

Gotta agree about Dollhouse, Eliza's still a sight to see, but the show itself doesn't really capture my imagination.  Strangely, it doesn't feel at all like a Joss show and I'll be happy to turf it now that Supernatural is back from its hiatus this week (on at the same time over here).

No I was still trying to work out what happened to Mutineers, Tyrol and other plot stories but I guess they couldnt fit them in 3 hours with all that Young and Cylon restless and Adama drinking binge teary breakdowns  :)

Glad to hear Supernatural back though I hope it kicks off well. Strange it was only back for a few episode and was only starting to hit its stride for me (probably the return of Bobby) when they took off again

Notice that a 2nd series of " Flight of the Conchords " has been airing in the US

Too Many D'icks on the Dance Floor

"Tell the players, make it understood
It ain't no good if there's too much wood
Make sure you know before you go
The dance floor bro-hoe ratio
Five to one is a brodeo
Tell Steve and Mike it's time to go
Wait outside all night to find
Twenty dudes in a conga line

Too many dicks on the dance floor
Easy to fix
Too many dicks on the dance floor
Spread out the dicks"

for those who wanna know:

BBC Two to show US TV's The Wire
The Wire

Hit US series The Wire is to be shown on BBC Two, it has been announced.

Led by British actor Dominic West, the critically acclaimed drama shows Baltimore life from drug users to politicians to local journalists.

Although it has been aired in the UK on satellite TV, it will be the first time it has ever aired on terrestrial TV.

All 60 episodes across the show's five seasons will be shown stripped across the week. Transmission dates have yet to be announced.

"We are delighted to offer terrestrial viewers the opportunity to watch this ground-breaking series," Sue Deeks, the BBC's head of series, programme acquisition, said.

"It's a wonderful chance for everyone to see what the critics have been raving about for so long."

Created by David Simon, The Wire's first season tells the story of a single drugs-and-murder police investigation from the point of view of both the police and their targets.

The show, which previously aired in the UK on pay-TV channel FX, has been championed by TV critic Charlie Brooker, who told viewers of his BBC Four show Screenwipe: "Quite simply, it's a stunning piece of work."

Author Irvine Welsh called it "the best thing on TV. By far. Nothing's close to it".

Flight of the Chonchords did a whole episode making fun of Australians that was hilarious and I bet it would have been even funnier if I was Australian or from New Zealand and was familiar with more Australian things.

Then they have had two episodes about the new zealand prime minister which have been great as well

Quality! I was always hoping he would do a series but on the Pacific side of things. Trailer doesn't seem to work though.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.
