Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
So many times, it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the tiger![]()

Only problem is I told my wife the story line and she won't watch it with me. So I'll have to wait or wrench the TV remote out of her hands (only possible during a game)

Recently got into this but there's one thing thats puzzling me, maybe I missed something, can any other fan of this show explain why when the humans are bitten by the vampires they (they humans) don't turn into vampires.
Know it only a tv show but I do like continuity.

all Vamp shows have their own rules. In this one you don't die unless they take all your blood (and even then just because you were killed by a vampire that doesn't make you one), and later they show how Bill Compton was "made Vampire" don't know if you have seen it, but it seems like it is an active choice by the Vampire who might feel bad for its victim in some way and doesn't want the victim to die a normal death. (I guess I would rather be a souless vampire than nothing at all)

You tipped me to this show Joe (thanx) . The bit by a vampire but you don't become one did puzzle me , I guess we have to accept that the Vamps don't drain you completey allowing you to remain human and therefore a kind of "blood bank" in which they've opened an account.

Try and get her to watch one episode with you, mate, and she might get hooked. My wife was turned off by the premise too but a friend she trusts insisted she try it. She completely loves the show now!
