Would be great to see a second movie Dawson

Wondering what Wheldon's latest series Dollhouse will be like which stars that hot psycho chick from Buffy

Had no idea Whedon was doing another series, mate.  That's great news!  Any sense of when it will air?

Just had a further look and it sounds like it will start airing next January.  Dam.n, all the best shows are on ice until 2009! :no

Defo liking the sound of this one though! :buttrock

WIKI Info on Dollhouse

Hopefully it will be good Bob and hopefully it will last longer then 13 episodes.

What did you think of BSG mid season finale btw ?

I quite enjoyed it, mate.  You knew there'd be a twist if they were going to get to earth so early but it was still well handled.  I also liked all the tension surrounding the revelation of the four Cylons in the fleet--thought Tye was getting air-locked for sure! :D

How'd you find it, Laz?

Yeah I enjoyed it Bob obviously they hamstrung by the fact they didnt know whether they would get another 10 episodes and could have been the final episode .
So I guess they had to balance between making what could be a final episode and still leaving enough questions if they got to finish the rest of the season

There certainly been some lowpoints in season but overall the storyline and characters have  kept me hooked. Cant wait for rest of season, pity its not coming until next year either though

Yeah, this season hasn't been quite as tight as the last three, unfortunately.  I thought the episode where they brought Mark Sheppard (Badger :D ) back to push Lee towards the presidency, for instance, was really not up to their usual standard.  I also wished they'd showed a bit more of the Cylon civil war.  That said, it's still got great characters and compelling story lines--and the special effects still blow my mind--so I'm glad it'll be back for a bit more yet...even if it means waiting half a year.

BTW, just had a peak at the Dollhouse trailer HERE and I'm definitely making some time to watch this show come January. :nod

Yeah I agree Bob, I would have liked to see more of cylon war and they could cut on some theological scenes to make way for it

Least it still got some great totty  :)

Yeah saw Dollhouse trailer a while back, didnt realise it wasnt getting screened until next year. Thought it would have been late this year but i guess writers strike might have been a factor

The treatment of "Firefly" is one of the main reasons why Manhattan is hesistant to start watching any new US TV show, because American networks cancel shows way too quickly IMO.[/b]

I agree. Axing Jericho is another example.

i just got round to watching the first two eopisodes of jericho. jeeeesus what a pile of wannk. i don't remember the last time i saw such a number of cliches and stereotypes and such a godawful script crammed into an hour and a half of telly.

still, enough people on here whose opinions i respect give it the thumbs up so i'll watch a couple more episodes. and i kind of want to know whats going on.

Got a great new show, one i think WOOF will love, but the rest will all love as well...coming to FX, or earlier for pirates

Breaking Bad - starring Bryan Cranston (the dad in Malcolm in the middle)

Walter White is your everyday man, who is a high school chemistry teacher, and has a loving wife and handicapped son. On the verge of his 50th birthday party. He begins having a mid life crisis, to make matters worse, he is diagnosed with terminal cancer. But not wanting to leave his family with nothing, in a quick way to make a lot of money. He teams up with a former student named Pinkmam(Aaron Paul) who is now a drug dealer, to make the drug called Crystal Meth.

This is a comedy! Imagine weeds, but mixed more with the sopranos... sounds class to me!!!

Also, for anyone with virgin, and tv choice on demand, or for you pirates, check out this gem

Justice:

Made by Bruckheimer, its a lawyer show about defending, but its more fast paced, and at the end of each episode you get to see what really happened. its not a bad idea, but a little contrived, i enjoyed anyways

episode 2-8 gradually becomes more and more like a soap (with a bit of sex thrown in), then it gets back to what it and he is good at  :D  At least you get to see the bird out of the Hustle with no clothes on.
