As was pointed out to me, this is a Liverpool board and if I want to make jokes about scousers this is not the appropriate place.

They are only words when all's said and done, but then again if I used some "other words" on here even in jest I would be banned. So where do you draw the line and who draws it? Anything goes? Or just anything goes as long as you say its "just a joke"?

f.ucking thick, anyone who thinks that a dodgy joke opens the doors for a barrage of racist, or otherwise offensive comments. following that same logic, the number of gay jokes we have on here should have led this to be the biggest anti-gay site on the web.

FWIW I find normal Scousers defend Liverpool, if they don't, who will? It's human to defend things that you feel closer to your heart.

I like Peewee as a poster (although he doesn't care) and I find respectable he is offended by that, I just wrote that because we were talking about banning 2 members that had never a warning and are liked here .

If the mods really thought that jokes were not acceptable, I think that 2 posters have enough credit to AT LEAST receive a couple of warnings before they're banned, especially when well known and liked posters have received second chances.

I beg pardon to peewee because my last paragraph can be misunderstood when I read it twice, I didn't mean to say he uses how we feel about this terrible things as a tool to get a ban but that it's not only him the one that feels deeply about this attacks. Sorry, I should have posted twice before posting. If he wishes so, I'll delete that part.

It depends on the scouse jokes really, but if people are out of town and support Liverpool and Laugh at the "Sign on" chants, then its time for them to support another club prefrably one not in Liverpool.

When your on holiday and theres an act on in a bar/club. They will say what audience have we got in tonight people from Birmingham?
London? Manchester? Liverpool? as soon as they know scousers are present they reel off a load of jokes about theives, unemployment so then they have material for their act.

Me mum was saying this so the next night when asked anyone from Liverpool we didnt answer and the same silly b@stard that called me a thief the night before asked me was I scandinavian I just nodded.

Que no jokes about scousers less material for him.

The scouse jokes TBH are a bit old in the tooth now theives and dolelites if people want to be funny atleast come up with some new material.

A neutral viewer can perfectly think Scousers are thieves since you can find most of the European cups of the country there.

Seriously now, when did start this "fame" against scousers, in the XIX century? I'm just curious, since it's a local fame, for the foreigners Liverpool is just one of the important cities of England.
