RAWK is a good site but not perfect. It has some problems with layout etc and also it has too many members. People complain about this place having cliques but from what I can see there about 10 to 20 members on RAWK who have 5000+ posts and they tend to hunt in packs, and I think this intimidates new members.

LFC is constantly trying to evolve and improve this place and that helps to keep this place fresh, but at the end of the day the moderators and administrators can only do so much and a forum is made or broken by its members.

i mean there's a section which is more like a chat room than a forum - in fact it IS a chat room. its occasionally mentioned but never visited. maybe its because we wouldn't have those precious couple of minutes to make up our smart :censored: replies...

I'm probably being a bit thick here but I still don't understand the difference between a chat room and a forum?

I've never been on a chat room before so apart from being full of paedophiles I don't know anything about them :Oo:

in a chat room whoever is logged in at the time can have real time conversations with each other and all replies are immediately visible with no need to refresh or reload. it is similar to a web forum such as this one but allows for much more spontaneous group discussion.

With respect JBG, no different to this forum mate.

RAWK I find has more new topics day in day out, but that I suppose is a question of size of member list?? Don't know how it compares with this site.

I am on this site and RAWK, pretty much all day whilst I do not post much I do read posts regulalrly on both sites.

However Newkit is the most user friendly of any discussion forum I have used/seen.
