The leaders of the 27 countries in the EU signed a treaty today to remove most vetos individual countries have and "streamline" how it works.

Ireland is the only country that will allow its people to vote on this - what a disgrace to democracy that no other country allows its people vote on whether they want a united Europe.

I'm against it. Nothing against Europe but we are all close enough and don't need more integration.

While I don't understand well why you're so wary about European Union, I do respect your stance, after all you're a sobereign country and are allowed to do what you want.

Sometimes it seems that you link the notion of Europe with losing Englishness, but I'm not sure that would happen.

Anyhow, I'm ok with the UK, I'd like them to be more Euro enthusiasts, but hey, I can live with the opposite as long as they have clubs like Liverpool and bands like the Beatles.
