A sort of trial period ? Or a YTS scheme - no pay but valuable expirence ?

I think that we need an official candidate list. Those who want to be mod, they should be in the list, so that the mods keep the file conveniently.

Those in that list, the ones who volunteer for moderators, despite not being moderators, they should have a right to voice protests about current moderation, and discuss privately with mods the major decissions (the mods would have the last word). Plus, when the mods need the help, they can look at that list.

Those who are not in the list, means that they are not interested in moderation of the site, so they would have to accept the decissions of the mods and not moan publicly.

It would work !

and it would make pointless all these threads about moderators in newkit.

Can someone who is on here every weekend be promoted to Mod please so that they can be here when little gobsites like this muppet guy today come on.

I thought we were all in agreement that people should not be allowed to sign up on match days.

Alternativley lock newbies down to 1 section so they need apprroval from mods to post elsewhere.

I've just had a look at the threads you are on about and think the guy is a complete and utter moron. The sooner the mods get on and delete his vitriolic and offensive bile the better
