I see tonights result has been ruined because of the merging of "Rafa" threads.
There were two open topics. Should rafa stay or go or is rafas time up?
There were also several Kuyt threads open. Most of them were merged or closed.
So, is merging the way to go? well, each topic will gain different responses so that makes them unique to start with but eventually they all go the same way. Lets look at Dundalks. It started off with a "what camp are you in?" to snippets from online tabloids.
You then have to consider the "Is rafas time neigh?", or nigh if you like, again been done before and we all had a vote on whether rafa should see out his contract or go or stay or whatever. Basically, its tedious. Should they have been merged? or should we be reading a more updated version of what newly converted "anti" or "pro" rafa camps feel. Or should we have created a "your rafa opinions" topic? This would work, you know you can say what you like in this one with regards to rafa.
Its a shame when a previously done topic is ruining the rest of the forum simply because newly converted opinions have more support for the original voice of concern. Its a bigger shame when we get one of our greatest results in times of doubt become secondary to getting in a petty jibe.
