The Men's College Basketball Tournament is one of the (if not the) biggest sporting events in the United States each year. It is a 64 (technically 65 because of a new play in game) team single elimination tournament to decide the National Championship.  Unlike in Europe, the tournament it bracketed and seeded from the begining (meaning no draws after each round) so almost every american participates in some form of an office or friendly pool.  Every year there are crazy upsets and spectacular last second shots, and if you consider yourself a sports fan it is something that should be checked out.  If you want to try making a bracket you can do one for free at http://espn.go.com  or any number of websites.  The first weekend of the tournament is always the most exciting because there are 16 games each on thursday and friday and 8 games each on saturday and sunday.
