with all due respect, you're not grasping the severity of this situation, nanny. if you were an anyway half decent woman you'd be dropping everything and rushing to bermenstein's bedside right now armed with a suitcase full of pharmaceuticals, you'd also be on your moby calling every other woman you know to come with you and make sure that the poor sod gets 24 hour attention. this is serious.

I got mugged off big time when my husband had it . Night nurse ha i was day an afternoon nurse an all . And Chicken soup i should of put it over his head . That would of made him jump out the bed.

I bet you that Bermanstein can still manage to eat an drink even though hes dying. I feel sorry for his wife an any other mans other half who fakes man flu

Metalhead you dont realise how much i was mugged off .  Dying with man flu but still manages to go an see Spurs then to top it all off even went for a bevvie after the game . Oh dont worry ive made him pay ever since
His wallett, His cards . An i even got a nice spa weekend booked in Jan for me an my daughter out of it.

So all yous men who pretend to have manflu beware because this is how we pay you back for the misery that you put us through

Had a heavy cold myself also, deffo not flu though.

Enough to do me head in, still cant breathe and feel groggy and that.
Only had actual flu once and it was horrible, well well worse than any heavy cold.

Doubt anyone on here has proper flu though cos like bazza said there is no way you'd be ersed enough to sit up never mind log onto a pc

A proper flu is when you get really high fever (about 39 or 40 C), cough and a cold together. You shiver the whole day, you can't eat because of your nausia and you moooooan alot

I had a proper flu 2 years ago, was terrible!!

I got a nasty infection in my bronchiols and a heavy cold 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Exactly..plus ya feel like you've been beaten for 7 hours with cricket bats all over your body,your hair is even sore to touch,you are cold then warm and when ya can mange to sleep you have the most fuc'ked up dreams cause of the fever.You just dont want to get out of bed,you are not able to!

Only ever had it once about ten years ago,it lasted about 5 or 6 days and it took over a week to get back to strength after that cause ya cant eat!

The colds a pain in the a$$ but nothing like flu,the worst thing about the cold is being bunged up,its hard to kip!
Get the sudafed tabs down ya,a hot whisky empty the bag,hit the hay..sorted!!
