The following is copied word for word from the London Evenig standard:


Women football fans are more likely to understand the beautiful games offside law than their male counterparts, according to research published today.
In a survey of 2,000 people who were watching football in a pub, 59 per cent of women could recognise an offside when they saw it, compared to just 55 per cent of men.



I say:

Well according to some on here I should stick to general chat, cook, clean and iron, but I just say bollox to them they obviously have an inferiority complex  :p

The day a woman can explain the offside rule and get it spot on will probably be here before a referee or linesman can spot one in a Chel$ki attack. :D  :D  :D

I don't see whats so difficult about it. I imagine the 45% of men that got it wrong were p*ssed out of their trees, and a woman with big knockers was doing the asking.

What they didn't reveal was that the survey took place in the Blue Oyster bar.

i dont think the linsemen no the rule in full. its that complicated these days
