sadly some parents do murder their children, some intentional an some accidental.

bm with any murder, especially child murders even the british police suspect the parents straight away, these are the people with the best opportunity.

i don't know if i can judge them on their behaviour since the abduction/murder, i don't suppose there are any rules on how to react in this situatiom, but little things like claiming an abduction straight away rather than claiming she had gone missing, its as though they knew she wasn't wandering around the resort.

the dingo thing in aus, did they eventually prove it was a dingo? i am not sure mate, also lets not forget in american jon bennet ramsey who is believed to have been murdered by her parents but they have never been charged as the deflected the blame straight away.

anyway lets hope i am wrong and she turns up alive and unharmed then i can say sorry for having doubts, however i will always blame the parents for the whole situation

I don't know...

Ive just been talking to the missus about this and she said she was watching some Religious thing on this morning, Heaven and Earth show or summat...and these were on it. Apparantly there was emotions on show all over the shop.

They'd have to be f**kin cracking actors to hold up this far without cracks showing, you'd know all about that Peter.

I just hope to (whoever) that IF she is dead...she didn't suffer one bit. And IF she is being held against her will...those responsible find a way to ensure her safe pasage back to her ma and da. Either way, it must be horrendous to go through this. My thoughts go to em all.

some people don't crack mate. remember we are talking about 2 very well educated people and just maybe they have some people sucked in, just like the ramseys in america, they are suspected but have never cracked and the police are not even searching now for her killers or abductors.

personally i think they killed her but i don't think they murdered her, maybe gave her a sleeping pill or some medication that has accidentally killed her, then panicked, got their heads together and hatched the abduction plot.

they have then been dragged on a roller coaster by the press and had to go with it, i think if they try to return to a 'normal' life now they think people will suspect why they are giving up. maybe their guilt is because the left her alone, maybe their guilt is because they did something more sinister.

like i say i don't know how i would react, maybe i am totally wrong, but the fact remains she is missing and very sadly there is a possibility that she is dead, i think this may never come to an end if the blood is shown to be someone elses

Being reported today that the blood is not maddies and the police are saying that the parents are not suspects (which means nothing i know). You will remember the Ben needham case i'm sure , this little boy just disappeared off the face of the earth about 17 yrs ago , case still not solved , so it does happen.

Peewee I know what your saying mate, just quickly with the "Dingo" thing the parents (mum) was eventually found innocent in that case.

But thats not to say other parents wouldnt murder their kids, but I'd reserve judgement until appropriate evidance is found. Its also quite easy to pick something as suspect when looking at the parents on T.V if you know what I mean. Going back to that 'Dingo' incident the mother was accused because of her apparent lack of emotion on the T.V camera's. People will always find a weakness or something in someones body language to finger the blame.

I'm gonna sit tight on this one, not being a parent myself but I couldnt imagine why anyone would want to hurt there own.

Peewee its funny that you say that as I have a mate who's dad used to be high up in the police force ( you were once in the force ya self) and he is convinced from day one that they have something to do with it.

Strange you bizzie fellows. :D

I doubt they killed their own daughter, but they were definitely foolish to leave their kids alone in that room.

Some may think it's wrong to say that, but I disagree.

Leaving children in a room all alone for the sake of a dinner?

Give me a fookin' break.

It just seems very strange how maddy has gone missing but all the parents can do is travel all around portugal, germany and wherever (even seeing the pope) and make out there trying to find there kid. Its all wrong, if my kid went missing I would scour the entire area of the hotel and places around that hotel, nearby towns, everything and yet the parents, to me, seem to have made the most of it. But then again, I wouldnt leave them alone in a foreign hotel.

if the parents were involved in the plot...what could be the objective? they are rich so money should not be an issue. the wife claims of a happy family background. but i dont understand why they didnt bring her for dinner too....unless the pub or whatever place they were at had age restrictions. and why werent the 2 twins abducted too? the portugese police are pretty inept IMO. apparently they were trying to hush this case to prevent their tourism from being affected. :O  but of course they said they were held back by some law which states they are unable to release any information unless neccassary.

portugeuse law states that all investigations have to be kept private i believe, in the UK investigations are generally in the public domain however even then certain information can be witheld if it will affect the investigation.

so in portugal they police are not being evasive. but with regards to their investigation, could it have been handled better? well possibly, remember we are getting the news from the british press who are not really bastions of truth

I am starting to think that sedatives where used on all of the kids and Maddy died accidently.
They all had an awful lot to lose, good payed jobs, big houses, face lenghty time in a foreign prison, lose their other children.
There is not one bit of evidence of a break in.
