Police in Portugal are investigating an anonymous letter and a map claiming to show where missing four-year-old Madeleine McCann's body is buried.
The letter, sent to Dutch paper De Telegraaf, identifies an area 15km (9.3 miles) from where Madeleine vanished.

It strongly resembles another letter sent to the same newspaper last year, accurately pinpointing where two missing Belgian girls were buried.

Is this the one they suspect is from some medium who told them the location of the Belgium girls ?

I heard a bit about it on the radio

Its a terrible end if its true, but if it was my child and it does turn out for the worse than i would like to think that i would be some what relieved that i finally had some closure on the whole thing. Im keeping my fingers crossed that she will still be found safe though

I just caught the end of the story on the radio and they reported that it was a Medium, the same one who helped them in the past ?

a guy who was in my class when i did my police training was on tv on a documentary recently, he joined cheshire police and i think moved to staffs, he is now a detective inspector. anyway he was investigating a murder and eventually used a psychic to help, the psychic got it spot on and they got the guys who did the killing. it was on discovery channel recently.

sometimes these people do work and do get too many things right for it to be coincidence.

My old lady watches a series called "Medium" . It's based on the true life story of a "psychic" who worked for the D A's office in Arizona (?) . It's probably padded up for tv but if only 20% of the help she is supposed to have given is true then it's pretty amazing ( and spooky  )

Must be hell for the parents ( despite the way/reasons she was taken ) . It seems like everytime there is a glimmer of hope it fades away.

The BBC was informed by “Police officials” that blood was found within 48 hours from Madeleine disappearance and was eventually dismissed. The second review by the British Police found a substance that “could be blood” but can’t be sure 100% and they are testing it now to see if it is indeed blood. If it turns out to be blood then a DNA test will be carried out.
