We used to have this fella called HammerE7 or something who posted on here for months. He was never a problem. Dom1 was never a twat for an Everton fan and I was one of the people who thought Chelsea Forever or whatever the guy was called was NOT on a wind up. I don't mind supporters of other teams coming on here as long as they know they are a guest and don't have a go. If they want debate they will get it. Be a tit though, and they will not be on here for much longer. Which is to be expected, to be fair. What one person calls banter, another person will not, and will click the ban button.
As far as moderating a website goes though, Turkish fans are just pricks in my experience. I don't mind saying it. They are. Always have been and as the last couple of days show, continue to be so.
Sorry I've not been on here to ban them by the way. Only got home an hour ago. Got blitzed in my mates last night and just kipped in his spare bed.

I'm against lockdowns .
More than happy to hear from opposition fans who want to come in here and talk footy and have the good sense to show a bit of respect when they enter our "house" . Recently some of the french fans of Toulouse and Marseille (for example) whilst not going into any great footy debate showed great enthusiasm and respect at the prospect of meeting us and to be fair we have had some Besiktas fans equally excited about the games to come and apologising for the sh'ite posted by some of their fellow supporters.
Keeping an open door policy in order to allow the decent opposing fans in here will always leave us open to a tide of unwelcome k'nobheads or they are now more commonly called, Wopdongs (
) .
We don't need lockdowns, we need more law enforcement . The current team of mods do a good job , (well apart from St Mick who is still to rebuke , card , or ban anyone ) but they like us have lives to lead outside of the forum and can't be expected to be here 24/7.
I know we've been down this road before and it did lead to some major rucks on the forum BUT the bottom line imo is that all this forum needs in order to get rid of the Wopdongs as soon as the appear is a little extra manpower .
If Admin were to consider enploying a few more mods and actually asked us peasants for an opinion I vote for PeeWee.

well i was prepared to give my time previously guys but then admin decided to sh1t on me from a great height without giving any real reason other than some little b1tches complained about me being mod.
i performed one act and that was to ban an already banned member after warning him (who has since gone on to be banned again justifying my decision)
in view of this i dont think i will be asked again, and without an explanation for the behaviour of admin last time and an apology for his behaviour he can go and whistle.
i do however agree that more mods are needed, especially as the season has started again

I still to this day cannot understand why Peewee was "relieved of his duties". The other night against the turkish invaders, peewee would have sorted that mess out, instead, we had other mods who were too pi.ssed out of there face to care. And those that were not drunk just were not here therefore degrading this forum. Sort it out !

I have great respect for mods, as Peewee was made one I also have great respect for him. The day they dismissed him without good reason they lost my respect, and the other night with the turks justified my decision.

I don't think being a Mod automatically merits respect, it depends on who it is. If Robert Mugabe was made a mod you couldn't possibly have respect for him, could you?
I don't know what has happened in the past, but the mods now do a good job and are very balanced, there just needs to be increased maintenance of the site - before and after matches mainly.

Eh?! Yeh I saw the Turkish invasion the other night. Had they been ignored maybe they might have gone away. I really don't care what happened to Peewee when he was a Mod. I know the current mod's are balanced, invariably they do a good job. They can't be on here 24/7, and nor should they be expected to.It's not conservative BS Kharhaz, it's my opinion.

Not everyone can be here 24/7 which is why they have several mods but of the several mods they have not one was here when we needed them most.

Agreed but this is our forum, not some johnny foreigners. Peewee took great pride in becoming a mod and would have sorted that out. It turned out no one was there to fight in our corner when we needed them.

A mod could have sorted it out, but they had more important things to do like getting p!ssed so I don't blame them. I wouldn't make a point of adjusting my plans on a Friday night for the sake of an internet forum.
It was sorted the next day, I have no problem with that.
At the end of the day though it's down to the site administrator, it's his site, he can do what he likes with it.
