well thats good.. but im afraid i dont believe you will quite it entirely!

I have alot of mates who say the samething, but after a month i see them under a tree smoking packs man! packs!

haha yeah well it will be hard but made such a big deal about it i have to do it now no matter what...

and no cold turkey as in no gum/patches etc

although the cold turkey u mentioned sounds interesting technique to quit smoking..

I can't f*cking wait. I'm sick of breathing in second-hand smoke. It's selfish, irresponsible, and now - it's going to be banned.

my old fella went to see a hypnoist many years ago, probably 25 years ago now, he was on 40 a day and then just stopped, never smoked again or ever wanted to, he went some some guys he worked with, some of them tried to smoke and vomited.

hypnotism can work

personally i have never been a smoker, i hate ir, however when i have a drink i do like a nice expensive cigar

The smoking ban came to Northern Ireland on the 30th of April this year and although I smoke it does not bother me that I have to go outside. Nine times outta ten I dont bother or cant be arsed going out so i do without. So I have cut down a hell of a lot. People here do not see it as a problem at the moment beacuse it is summer time and they can go into beer gardens or sit at tables at the front of where they are, but I think it will be a different story come winter time. I think it will encourage alot of people to stop smoking. I do think some of the rules we have are a bit far fetched. Your not allowed to smoke at a bus shelter and you have to be 1.5 meters away from the entrance of a building and theres talk that you wont be allowed to smoking in your car. But laws are laws and we have to abide by them.

Good luck kunilson on stopping. You might want to think again about going cold turkey. Tried it once and ended up back on then after a week and ended smoking a lot more.

Its a good idea peewee, my dad did the samething.. but unfortunetly it didnt work

but then he actually stopped smoking for 9 years..but returned

My grandfather went to see a hypnotist years and years and years ago to try and stop smoking only to find out that the hypnotist smoked aswell!

oh feck off. im just gonna follow u around outside areas now smoking!!!

i will never quit. why should i? the governmanet is trying to make us stop? bollox, the amount we spend on tax for ciggys compared to the amount we take up on nhs is a laugh.

can i also ban in restaurants all: fat people, families (kids are not allowed in restaurants!!!) mobile phones.

where will it stop?

how can u put a smoking ban on a private club?

this law has ruined old peoples lives in wales, ireland and scotland, they cant play bingo anymore!!!
