so julian assange has been released on bail and has an electronic tag. seeing as at least one representative of most of the 'democratic' governments of the world has stated he should be executed, and the vast majority of others believe him to be a category A terrorist, i think his days on this earth are numbered.

he's out in the open, easily locatable and not at all protected. my prediction is that within the next two or three weeks someone will either break into the manor house where he's staying or do him in the street. it will, of course, be made to look like the work of a crazed lunatic but i think we all know what is being planned behind closed doors in the corridors of power.

He's a marked man no doubt, which is scary. Those nut jobs in the US holding high office calling for him to be executed may well get their wish. Its a scary world we live in.

However, the genie is out of the bottle regardless of what happens to him. He has set a precedent and Wikileaks style sites will continue. Personally I'm waiting to see what really happened at Roswell.

Not all has been released. Wikileaks are drip feeding the information.

It probably is in their interests (Wikileaks) not to release information on the Chinese government as they are the primary host of the website at present. But don't rule out a release on Russia, Assange himself said in October "the Kremlin should brace itself..."

More interestingly is the comment found on Wikipedia regarding Wikileaks -

In December 2010, Assange's lawyer, Mark Stephens, told The Andrew Marr Show on the BBC, that WikiLeaks had information it considers to be a "thermo-nuclear device" which it would release if the organisation needs to defend itself.
