Agreed...... Some intent in that particular decision I feel. Mere coincidence is extremely unlikely.

of course the far right aint right... but neither is all this other stuff, and people will start leaning one way more than the other... its just the way of the world.. so things need to be done now.

i just want a nice peaceful existence, but i refuse to be scared and bullied into becoming pro-islam when i see so much bad going on... and i know most muslems are fine, but the yoof of today are evil bar stewards... and its only getting worse

are we not allowed to include the thousands of innocent civilian casualities killed in afghanistan and iraq?

And that was Christianity saying "Kill the non-believers", was it?

lando, what i'm trying to say is that it is now virtually impossible to separate the long standing mistrust and prejudice between both sides since the start of the 'war against terrorism' and its high number of civilian casualties. it doesn't even really matter who started it any more as we'd probably have to go back several centuries to even begin to get to the root of the issue.

seeing as we are talking about the level of feeling between the muslim protesters and the 'white' protesters in london i feel its necessary to consider the feelings generated on both sides by the casualties of the wars in afghanistan and iran.

sometimes its helpful to look at things in shades of grey than always in just black and white.

I'm yet to offer any opinion on this, other than the "what's good for to goose..." standpoint.

The vast majority of people are good. But I feel that the timing of the opening of the Mosque was p*ss-poor, and as per usual, whenever a white group pipe up against a non-white group, it's fascism and far-right ignorance.

But when the non-whites advocate the slaughter of their hosts (for 'tis what we are), no-one bats an eyelid. No-one gets arrested.

No-one gets deported.

Why? I guarantee that a white man stood on a soap-box in the middle of a City street, yelping about killing the Islamic World, would soon find himself doing time in a cell with a guy called "Knuckles".

If he did it in a Muslim country, he wouldn't make it past his opening line.

Yes history has a lot to do with the tensions, but it's time these knumbskulls learned to forgive and forget. They weren't there, and 90% of Britons are only Christian when filling out the National Census.

It's not that "Islam is wrong because Christianity is right."

It's; "Islam is wrong because we don't agree with their methods and lifestyle. We don't WANT to sit about praying to a God we don't believe in. We don't WANT to change our way of life to appease some thickos who think they'll get 80 virgins if they die whilst killing us. We LIKE football. We LIKE beer. We LIKE the choices our civilisation offers. Our ancestors fought WARS to keep it that way, and if you think you and your daft bearded c*nt of a leader are going to alter that, think on, my friend.

Because we'll knock the sh*t out of anyone who tries."

I think that pretty much sums up the general consensus of Britain.

My motto: "Live your life how you want - just don't f*ck with mine."

what is helping the catholics and protestants bond in Northern Ireland is the burning out of the houses of immigrants. Nothing unites like a shared hatred (Britain had France many centuries ago to cement it as a country) You just need a common enemy. Blame the Luxemburgers for all Britains problems and I bet it wouldn't be long before white britains and muslim young men started to look for pesky luxemburgers to beat up. There are so few of them around you'd have peace on the streets.

Perfect sensible solution.
