Mudface has to go. Its as simple as that. If Mick's saying it its obvious.

Surely when people like myself, bigMick, woof woof, Cggy, Lando and Laza are all of the same opinion about these people it must count for something...

Infact, John, the point is we know yourself and JBG are of the same opinion, so why even give these idiots a chance?

They'll only end up getting other posters into trouble.

I came on here the other day to see LFCNUTTER and mark the red having a go, i was :censored:, in a bad mood then here A.B. whinging like a child in the background so i had a pop. :D

That LFCNUTTER has posted about 90 posts and easily a third of them have been either insulting, trying to be little or trying to argue with me. A THIRD! Can you imagine if had even a 10th of my posts picking on one member? There would be uproar.

Luckily i have a go at everyone so no-one can accuse me of being bias... :D

Ban the obvious wind up merchants.I certainly wouldnt have a problem with that. All they do is stifle debate and discourage decent posters. No second chances,no yellow cards, just kick the tos.sers out on their ar.ses.

I see what the mods mean when they say that they do not want to be despots. If they banned them in the first strange post, there might come a new guy with strong personality (a la Stu) and make a valid footie point that wouldn't be necessarily shared by the majority and if you apply an easy trigger people like this can be banned unfairly.

But I think that mods have been patient enough with this Mudface guy.

After my behaviour in the past a few may feel i have no right to criticise..and thats fine!!

But im going to anyway:;):

This forum has been a fuc.king disgrace since TV changed its hours or whatever happened with that shi.tty forum!
It seems we have had an influx of a lot of one line posters, :censored: takers and basically people that have no clue of LFC or footaball in general that used to use this other site!
Well basically i and im sure a few others came to love this site because it was everything all the others were not...for the people who have been here regularly they will no what i mean so i have no need to elaborate on what i mean..
It has been clear lately that a lot of regular posters are spending less and less time on here and i can understand why!
We cant expect the mods to ban every newbie that logs on for no real reason so it appears our forum will continue to be overun by twa.ts!
Looks like we will have to get used to it!! :no

We all know my feelings about the prát........

How long are people normally banned for i've noticed lately one or maybe 2 members posting again after being banned. One of them was pretending to be two people when he was banned.

I think there is a fundamental misconception of how this things work.

The mods cannot ban people. If it was down to me, I'd ban most troublemakers from the outset, wouldn't fanny about.

But its not down to me nor Jonnymac, so there is no point in getting on to us to ban people. We don't have that arbitrary power.

Moreover, I'm no longer a mod in so far as I don't moderate anymore and I've asked LFC to make me a normal member again. I'm just waiting for him to sort that out.

I do try to read as much as posts as possible, but I missed the one in you explained you were not mod any more JBG, sorry. I'd like to say thank you for your work so far.

But well, I also have to congratulate you because now you're going to have the best part of forum experience, with not extra and tiring work! :)

Hope the ones that volunteered to be mods have taken good note of your classic moderator attitude, I think you did a great job, and I have been in forums for a while!

Thats the Big Question Stu .

Maybe JBG,Jonnymac or St Mick will explain it to us  ?

I suspect the answer may lie higher up . Many times I have seen one of the mods make a comment such as "I'll refer it to LFC Admin as soon as he logs in "  That suggests to me that our much loved trio of mods have limited powers when it comes to giving some a'rsehole the boot .
Perhaps JBG , Jonnymac or St Mick would like to comment on this point ? .

If however our regular mods do indeed have the power to immediatley expel an a'rsehole from the forum but some latent sense of humanity is preventing them , I can only suggest that they remember all the people who made this site what it is ARE NOT the people taking the p'iss . If you value our future contibution to this site then for christs sake ............
Sort it out

I don't think it would take much clicks of the mouse granting the mods the banning right. So LFC Admin, for the sake of having a better forum, do so, those are competent guys.
