Parts of Spain are more English than Spanish for example, you might be happier there. I understand you can get a traditional breakfast in many a Red Lion, Fish and Chips, spotted Dick, and they wear knotted handkerchiefs, and all speak English.....well integrated :Oo:

Why would I want that when I go on holiday? No I would want to eat Spanish food, learn about Spain, meet the locals, see the sights and learn about a new culture. I would not want to eat English food, meet English people and live like an Englishman for two weeks. Otherwise what is the point on going on holiday? And it is also disrespectful to Spanish people.

They have the fúcking right to talk in english.

ENglish people must only follow the same laws that we do, as European citizens they are. And if they want to talk English, let them do it.

Of course, if they want to buy some apples and deal with a local merchant, then it would be handy to them to learn some SPanish. But that's their choice. As long as they pay their taxes, do not steal, do not murder, that is, as long as they follow the law we all follow to live together, I don't care whether they drink tea, play golf and talk english.

English are a growing community in the south due to the good weather. English respectable men come here for the benefits weather provides to their health. Local Spaniards, most of them at least, are clever enough to see the big picture: they bring money to the local merchants, in some cases they have saved local commerce, and they OF COURSE ARE WELCOME here.

Of course we have a minority that says "Spain for the Spaniards" but then, they're are the target of jokes.

Canada might be happy butchering millions of seals, but us English are much more civilised. So as you would say, jog on.

Purely for the use of the phrase "Jog On" I'm gonna card you.

you can f course sue me .

Go ahead, I don't care, I didn't realise I wasn't allowed to express my opinions on here, after all I am upholding the forum rules, so card me as much as you want if it makes you happy.

I might have said what you and others don't want to hear, but that's how I feel, at least I have the balls to speak out and not whinge about it in the comfort of my living room.

Wilhelmson, you can say what you like , just remember i've got money riding on this thread and "jog on" was an opportunity I couldn't resist.

Call me corrupt.

Who's next.

Fine lines Wilhelmsson...fine lines. Be extremely cautious where you take this discussion from herein.

Leave it please Red, like i've said we'll never know where we stand u less we know what people think....No need to lock the thread, its a discussion worth having, aslong as we can remain unabusive.

Ive no intention to lock the thread - not unless it turns nasty. There is room for considered discussion here.

My advice to Wilhelmsson is valid btw..despite his attempts to oppose that.

Woof, why don't you finish the job and get rid of this White, English Bigot? You know what, people can say what they like about me, but I am a proud Englishman who cares about his country and feels passionately about it and if this makes me racist then so be it.

I would die a thousand times over my country and I wouldn't expect anything in return for dying, English owes me nothing, it's my motherland and the finest motherland on Earth. It's so good that, that tart Hitler was envious and wanted a piece.

I hope you aren't mocking the Scottish or Nelson Mandela for that matter, now that is a man I would happily bow down too, I hope to emulate him one day. A true Icon, oh no I am supposed to be racist.

Hey Willy you said there are some you welcome with open arms and others you wouldn't so who are they? Who specifically has pis sed you off? Any group in particular? Some of the 'recent' immigrants have been here for 3-4 generations you want to send them back on the banana boats aswell? What do you think about our National dish of Chicken tikka masala? Are you sure you do not have immigrant blood in you somewhere, and if you did can i expect you to give up the passport and leave?

I firmly believe that immigration needs tight control, but don't think we need a shoot on sight policy, nor that you can blame all of them for all the ills you have mentioned, in fact some groups hugely out perform the indigenous 'English' in respect of lack of criminal activity, education, home ownership, moral values.....what would we do with them?

I have explained this already my friend, scroll back a few pages. I am Germanic, therefore I am English through and through, I have the evidence at home.

If you must know I am disillusioned with society, immigrants get better treatment than us, the indigenous population and I am fed up of immigration which isn't wanted or needed.

There are immigrants who out perform us, and they are welcome to stay here, providing they integrate and are committed to the nation.

If they aren't, then they should go home.

I’m sick of them as is most of Europe

Define 'them'

For a start, I’d love us to tell the EU to get stuffed

I thought you empathised with 'most of Europe', no?

Them are them, immigrants of course who else? The EU is responsible for most of the problems with England. They are ruling our country and I am sick of it.
