I use IE, i build my website to work on IE, have a go at building a website that works 100% on firefox....its very very hard to do.

not if you wish to see all photo that are on web pages. and its poor if you are trying to upload to ftp severs. Most still dont support it.The one i hate is trying to upload to virgin webspace.

but for basically browsing the web it is very much better because you don't get a pop up every five seconds and considerably less spyware which is handy because saves you scanning every day for them. i understand where your coming from though also.

I do use IE but only on occasions of, like u say, web pages or even live streams for football matches etc.

Generally Firefox is better

I'm currently using Firefox. I did go through a faze of using Opera which is a very good browser and is very light on using the old computer resources but can be less compatible with some websites than firefox.

I'd also recommend Mozilla Thunderbird as an alternative email program. I've just started using it myself and it's just as good as outlook but with some added features like being able to teach it to identify items as 'junk' which it will in time deal with automatically. I had a lot of problems with 'Spam' in recent months thanks to a fuck up by my ISP but since moving to Thunderbird they've disappeared.
