Just think sometmies bans/cards are given in the heat of the moment, when maybe someone level headed could be brought in to help with this to make things happier

Have you actually read my responses? 

You are free to submit a report to ANY moderator at ANY time.  Bearing in mind the situation and whether there is justification for doing so. Even those who are visibly online, might feel it prudent to allow for some thinking time before making a response. No difference whether thats done in 'stealth' mode or otherwise.

But our inbox's are never offline are they?

Level-headed approach?  Wtf do you think happens already? Do you seriously believe that there are agenda's that mods have against the forum's wellbeing?  How about one of its members advocating a 'boycott' - thats Level-headed alright.

Also, while we're at it - how about some of YOU lot adopting a similar stance before creating a song-and-dance over f*ck all?  Or taking the composure to think before opening yer gobs and spamming up numerous threads that have any life, or any potential inherent, squashed flat through the pettiest of politicking. Or worse, the ridicule/provoking of another member (or moderator...) for that matter.

Even where there is a debate to be had...and compliance from the 'mods' is forthcoming. Whipping up a tantrum that ultimately is heading towards 'strike action' is hardly conducive to making good progress....besides, on an Internet forum in the virtual space?  Are you sure?  Dude.

And what exactly 'worked' about it? 

I love you ALL by the way....but 'love' as you should be aware...is a multi-faceted enigma. Some of its edges need a little smoothing out from time to time.

Its also a Two-way street.

Anyway, im off to Tesco to get me tea and some cig papers. Oh and a new floor cloth and some Pledge. Im sure they will still be open for business though...and not involved in any Industrial disputes or something or other. You know - there for me to take advantage of and take for granted.

And yes, the members are equally as culpable. Well, some of them. Just like 'some' of the mods are.

In other words...we are all in the same boat - as normal, everyday supporters of Liverpool FC. How on earth is it so f*cking hard to achieve harmony?

I would love this forum to go back to how it was 2 years ago, for me thats when it started to go downhill.
Its hard to just tal;k about football on here as in now just turns in to slagging the member off that dont think the same as you. there are too many members that use the word C*nt.

i dont have a problem with mods handing out bans to members that over step the lines but some members tend to get a card for nothing, by this i mean what the card was handed out for was not outside the rules, giving cards for saying you dont like a manger or player IS going too far.

I hope one day that this forum can get back to what it once was, a open minded forum about Liverpool FC.

I could be wrong but I don't think anyone's ever been carded for just saying that  Lakes.   



Mods are essentially referees, and just like refs we won't get every decision right. Some players (members) like yourself take it on the chin and get on with it.

I recently red carded you and with hindsight I MAY well have misunderstood the intended tone of your post which in turn led me to red card you.

No mate, you explained your intention, told me you thought my decision was wrong and then simply asked when your ban would expire and that you were gutted that you couldn't comment on the "derby".

You taught me something there Lakes and in the process gained more of my respect.

You're back posting, nobody died, the forum rolls on and we have no grudge to bear, it's unfortunate that others are unable to emulate your example.
