Unfortunately, supersub and woofwoof stunk the place out with their moderating.

The amount of time and effort from BigMick and s@int put into this place at times,
far outweighed any effort from them two.

But they don't care - as long as they can log on / abuse / card / suspend / ban
then they are happy.
Who's gonna make them tow the line??? Nobody.

It was a laugh at times - but it has been a good example of how poor moderating can ruin a forum.

Speaking for myself I can only say that I''m happy to see that my efforts over the last six and a half years haven't gone entirely unnoticed.

For those who haven't followed my newkit career as keenly as Effes apparently has here's a brief synopsis of my activity since the forum regulations were amended last August.

In addition to logging in for a couple of hours virtually EVERY day, I have during the last six months, with the exception of one or two wums, issued six yellow cards, only one of which is still active and three red cards two of which remain in place.

Apparently this activity coupled with the amount of abuse I apparently throw at people has "stunk the place out".  .

No doubt myself and perhaps some other moderators are also responsible for the teams poor performances this term, performances that have generated a flood of negative and often vitriolic posts from newkit members aimed at the team, the manager, the moderators and other members. I of course take full responsibilty for all the ill's that have beset the forum and offer my apologies for the stink. By the time Dawsinios Suffragettes return from their self imposed exile I'll have the place disinfected and hopefully the team will have won a few more games.




As far as the issue of a member asking for their account to be deleted is concerned, it is of course a members perogative.
It's my understanding that Saints posting rights were soon to be restored but he has elected to leave the forum anyway. Although perhaps understandable it's unfortunate that he has chosen to express his disatisfaction with some moderating decisions by asking for his account to be deleted, it certainly doesn't add anything to a forum he was clearly such a fan of.

if this place is going downhill then it isnt because of the mods, its the fooking childish behavior of some of its members.


i wonder how many of the people on that list would be prepared to put there name forward to be considered a mod, not fooking many i bet.


not every card or ban is issued because of something wrote on the boards, so as where not privvy to what is said via pm then you just have to trust in the people who run the place or move on.


people get banned all the time so why the big deal now, no one should be above being carded or getting a ban, but i guess some disagree.

in all i think we have a descent bunch doing a thankless task.

If I had more time I'd consider it but to be honest - and this is the point - I dont think I could do better than the present team. I moderated 2 forums in the past, when its good its easy, when the mud starts to be flung its a no-win situation.

ive not been on here for a period of time and its been brought to my attention that 3 very credible posters, S@int, Bam and BigMick have been banned. its ridiculous that 3 posters who contribute so much to topics are being banned. so who is gonna keep the discussion going? Supersub? all you do, from what i observe, is post "sarcastic" smileys, continue your beef with Heimdall and ban anyone who disagrees with your views. disgraceful. so yes, count me in.

This is being done to hopefully reinstate some of the posters that were banned. If it was a case that someone got banned and most of the forum agreed with it then im sure something like this wouldn't be taking place. The fact that a lot of posters would prefer the forum with the likes of Bigmick, Saint and Bam would indicate that maybe the place would be better with them posting.

BigMick is a tw*t, Saint is a bitter old c*nt who kisses the antis' a*seholes and Bam is a grade A sh*thouse.

Better off without them, the useless, horrible c*nts.

I have a lot of respect for Saint and Bigmick. Top posters, whether you agree with what they are saying or not, they are healthy for the forum. They are two people who can raise a good discussion and have other people keep it going. Not only that they achieve their points through well thought out comments. Even at my most tedious both posters have had the patience with me to explain their points.

However...

If you push the wrong button with the wrong people, you have to face the music. Whether or not Supersub was right or wrong, he has been here since the beginning. He is in charge. The boss if you like. Would you argue with your boss at work over a point, and then push and push until he snapped? no, of course you wouldnt. It would be wiser to just bite your lip and say ok, whatever.

I dont have the facts and therefore dont know exactly what has gone on only what I have read. This forum would be less without Saint and Bigmick. No doubt at all but as Supersub said, it will survive.

This strike achieves nothing. Bigmick will still be banned, Saint may be able to post again after whatever time and the mods have a 2 week break.

End the strike, have the long term members strike a balance with the moderating team, and end ALL the pettiness right across the board.

All this b*llocks about respecting and accepting peoples' opinions - where were you when the soft c*nts were shooting down every post I made, then deriding me for never contributing? Saint, Ace, Heimdall, Bam, Peewee, Maxic*ntingscum (peewee in disguise?), TheRock, etc, etc. Every f*cking time I posted anything (and it isn't always abuse, before you try that card...) the chuckle brothers were on it like a shot - swiftly followed by the buggery brothers and the soddomite sisters. Funny how I've barely posted on here since my ban, but the forum's situation has worsened - I bet that was one in the eye to the bitter harlot's who insisted it was all my doing...

I'll tell you something - something that sets me apart from the sh*thouses above: I post no differently in PM - what you "see" is what you get. Bam is a disgusting individual who fate really should sort out eventually. He is one sick puppy, and a good iron rod beating would serve him very well. BigMick is the self-proclaimed Oracle, and actually knows f*ck all about anything. Saint is possessed by the ghost of Joseph Goebbels and did everything he could to try and knock the positivity out of everyone on the forum. Sly digs here, inaccurate stats there. It was all a sack of sh*t designed to get support for a "Rafa-Out" forum, rather than a Liverpool forum.

BigMick, for all this much-vaunted "best poster" shat, actually had 3 posts he consistently regurgitated:

1. Rotation and the "delayed Gazelle" effect.
2. Jose Mourinho.
3. Rafa doesn't understand the English game.

Continually, he refused to acknowledge the facts on each topic, choosing instead to simply re-write the same bullsh*t time after time after time.

I abuse, because I speak on here how I speak with my mates. I tell it how it is - your "silly person" is my "f*cking stupid tw*t". Your "poor decision" is my "utterly unbelievable f*cking c*ck-up".

Your "I don't agree with what you are saying" is my "stop talking out of your a*se, you thick f*cking c*nt".

I find it quite comforting that all of the group mentioned about has been banned at some point - perhaps I wasn't wrong, afterall.

I get banned because of things everyone can see: I insult anti-Rafa w*nkers.

Why do THEY get banned? Perhaps that's a question everyone should ask themselves before embarking on a laughable crusade.

As a foot note, it does make me smile when I think that there's about 15 people who think that their abstinence will alter things on a forum with about 10,000 members.
