Unbelievably loud and so enjoyable to sing with the other 40,000 or so reds. Also, my sister ended up sitting next to a guy that works for the man that gave the tickets to the school.

On the way there on the train my sister and I ended up talking to this guy who was going to the match. He'd brought his friend who was an Arsenal fan, but he was a Liverpool fan. He was a really funny guy and there was lots of banter through the journey. He also said that he knows Pennant and Hyypia, so we were starting to think that he might be someone famous. Turns out he's Michael Harvey from So Solid Crew and he used to be a professional footballer. I think he played against Man Utd for Wimbledon at one point. But now he works in music and acting. (We only figured out who he was after we got back from Liverpol).

We got off at Lime Street station and I thought the area around there was nice - lots of old buildings and it seemed clean as well.

Outside Anfield before the match I saw Alan Hansen walk past us but I didn't talk to him as he was rushing a bit. Then the Arsenal team coach came in - that was mildly interesting. It would of been better if the windows weren't tinted, then I could have seen some of the players or something.

Overall I had a fantastic time and I will definately go again to Liverpool, even to just see the city itself as we didn't have time to see anything really.

I'll never forget that night! :buttrock

Made up you had a good time son, The lad on the train was most prob Harvey and hes a mate of Pennant, He never played for Wimbledon though he played for the breakaway lot AFC Wimbledon. Hes full of himself though
