Today America's first black president will be sworn in to office; today history is in the making and guess what they're playing 'You'll never walk alone' on the mall..

It is truly one of those "where were you moments", the biggest gathering ever on the mall, a buzz, hope and... lets see what will be the Obama presidency, many challenges and priorities - today is the beginning perhaps of something very big !

I'm American and my roommate is watching, but I have no interest in this. I don't understand the big deal, all over hyped. The president can only do so much, and campaign promises are never something to hope you'll get in full return. And does it really matter hes black? Maybe its just what I've been taught in school but what difference does it make if hes purple, pink, white, black, yellow, orange? They need to make up their minds!
