:D No worries

The Grand National is a lottery anyway so really ANY nag can win it, the better Cheltenham horses haven't been doing to well so far because all their time and training was used for Cheltenham, so get your money on an outsider each way....you never know  :;):

I've gone for Knowhere with backbeat each way. (that's without seeing any odds up to now)

Only horse race I follow.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

I dont do national I see my bum years ago with my missus because she never put a sure fire bet on for me.

I was working at laceby, in a pub, and one guy there, a regular customer, a fireman, left his wallet back at home so rather than have him go all the way home I sorted his tab out and let him pay me back. Sure enough the next day he came back to the pub and paid me. Thankfull for what I did he said "Listen, you helped me out so i'll sort you out, dead cert stick a load of money on Earth Summit."

Now I was working all day so I gave me missus a ring, told her that whatever money she had stick it on Earth Summit to win. She said "i'll see".  Sure enough it won that year, and when I got home she never bet a penny ! I still feel sick today, and so never bet since ! Whenever she mentions it I get the hump and remind her of the dead cert !

L'Ami, Butler's Cabin and Turko were the three I tipped. I have a soft spot for Slim Pickings though, must have overlooked his name in the running originally
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

For what it's worth, here's Nifty's unofficial guide to picking a Grand National winner:

It's basically a process of elimination based on previous winners and statistics.

In the last 20 Grand Nationals, only 3 winners have been at odds of over 30-1 so eliminate these horses.

This leaves a field of 17 consisiting of:

Cloudy Lane; Comply or Die; Simon; Slim Pickings; Bewleys Bay; Chelsea Harbour; Butlers Cabin; King Johns Cabin; Snowy Morning; Hedgehunter; Mr Pointment; Dun Doire; D'Argent; McKelvey; Mon Mome; Philsons Run; Point Barrow.

In the last 20 years, only 2 horses have won carrying over 11 stone, so eliminate these.

This should leave a field of 9:

Cloudy Lane; Comply or Die; King Johns Castle, Bewley's Berry; Dun Doire; D'Argent; Mon Mome; Philsons Run; Point Barrow.

While only three favourites have won the National in the last 20 years, it could be a wise move to eliminate Cloudy Bay from the reckoning leaving a field of 8 horses to choose from.

This is the system I have used for a number of years and it usually serves me well, although Hedgehunter and Silver Birch have caught me out recently.

From that final pool of runners, I'm tending towards Comply of Die, Bewleys Bay, King Johns Castle and maybe D'Argent.

Since I have already have Comply or Die in a sweep, my pick of the day will be King Johns Castle - especially with the race being in Liverpool and King John being synonymus with the City's birth. Saying that, only two grey horses have ever won the Grand National.

Good luck everybody.
