The US Open has teed off today.  Really I can't stand the course.  Congressional is boring as hell.  I've played it, and left thinking, Meh.  Not worthy of hosting a major.  But yet again they get a major.  Anyone give a C.rap about this?

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Absolutely.

McIlroy's a joy to watch - his natural ability is staggering, but what makes him even more interesting is your not quite sure he'll be able to close it out. Yet again today he didn't hole his mid-range putts - if his putting was as good as the rest of his game he could have been -9. He was looking relaxed and calm - what will happen when he starts feeling the pressure again.

I really like McIlroy and he and Scott are two I'd be pulling for if Mickelson isn't in the picture come Sunday.  Unfortunately (in terms of watching, but still it's a good thing) I'm going to be playing in a New york metro area tournament for the next four days so I will be focused on that so I won't really be able to watch.

Kinda funny that nearly all I spoke to during the practice round today could really care less about this US Open.  Overall reason why, Congressional is shlt.

ESPNStatsInfo ESPN Stats & Info

Rory McIlroy is the quickest to get to 10-under par in U.S. Open history. No one ever did it in the 2nd round, McIlroy did it in 26 holes.

Yer a miserable f'ucker - delighting in the misfortunes of others. Bitter, twisted, probably alone and unhappy.

I WILL LOVE IT IF HE BEATS THEM! LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Another superb round last night.

How many other golfers in the world are capable of dominating a major like that?

Tiger - yes.

Anyone else? Mickelson maybe.

Superb natural talent.

Yep, feels different this time. Westwood's probably the biggest threat - if he went -6 again it could be interesting, but I think McIlroy's got it this time.

So close to a hole in one there now for Rory

He is the first man to EVER be at -17 in the US Open. EVER.

To be honest, I'm surprised McIlroy walked around the water there and not just straight over it :D
