Finished my 1st season last night and won the league. I won the league off Chelsea by 6 points and was quite happy with my team but if felt like I had a lot of under performers in my team and more often than not I was closing games out after 1-0. Went out F.A cup, league cup and champions league at the 2nd round.

This summer Riise wanted a new challenge so off he went to Valencia for £15m, and I brought in Sergio Aguero for £14m and Owen for £8.5m just because of old times sake. Bellamy was top Prem scorer last year and Crouch won player of the year. Gerrard was poor and Kuyt was awful 6 goals in 27 games!!!

Was going to sell him as I have 5 strikers but cant do that to the lad lol.

Should I sell him?

what do you actually do in the game?

is it just a text based game?

or do you actualy play games as well?

sorry, if youve never played a Championship Manager/Football Manager/Prem Manager/LMA Manager then you dont really like football at all.............

Just finished my first season lst night. Did the league and FA cup double and finished 7 points above Chelsea. Got knocked out in the CL quarters against porto, 6-6 on away goals. Should have won it. I sold Steven Gerrard to chelsea for £38m and with that cash bought aaron lennon and miroslav klose aswell as micah richards with other funds. One of the best bit of business I've done. Klose fitted in my 4-2-3-1 system perfectly and absolutely smashed in the goals getting around 46 goals in 51 appearances and the main reason for my success. Lennon was great getting many assists before injury and sissoko, alonso and luis garcia were all instrumental. Kuyt did well in the few chances he had and got a few goals.

I need some help. I'm on 15th Jan 2007. Riise says he wants a new challenge and Milan, Roma, Porto, Sevilla, Valencia and Villarreal are interested.

What should I do? I've got Aurelio who's brilliant at set pieces. Should I buy some guy called Marcelo who seems to be a brilliant young left-back?

Also, that www.sortitoutsi.net only has stuff for FM 2006. Anyone know a website with FM 2007 updates?

I ended up selling Riise for 15million to Lyon. You need to get him to sign a contract in the first season to make him stay. Try and buy Leighton Baines he's class on it.

well this worked for me in FM 2006. If you want a cheap, but great forward a guy by the name of Delgado from Argentina. He will fit the bill nicely. Baines is really good in that game.

Try for 15million, if they don't take it then sell him for between 10 and 15. Anything under 10million is not worth accepting unless you have no other option.
