Feck me the boards are dead... - Has everyone given up or what?

I can think of a few reasons it's so quiet:

1) No Liverpool action for what seems like ages now
2) No transfer window in the near future to get everyone buzzing about rumours
3) We've talked ourselves to death on most topics (I think most of us could finish each other's sentences on issues like the squad, man management, Robbie Keane, rotation, Mourinho... :D )
4) People taking a breather after recent boughts of board drama/intrigue/politics
5) The February blahs (don't know about you guys, but winter is kicking the sh!te out of me over here)

Not to worry, I expect things will pick up once the footy returns on Sunday.  Until then enjoy the silence. :nod

I expect the lads will be looking at the Mancs' lead and thinking, we're not gonna take it

Can you believe it?  One of the most exciting transfer day sagas in recent memory and it only amounted to 4 pages (+ 2 tacked on 2 years later).  If the Simao thing happened today, there'd be three 58 page threads going on in here, with Lakes quoting 5 live every two seconds and Bav hitting peaks of euphoria and troughs of despair like a schizophrenic on crack (no offense lads, but you know it's true!). :D

The boards r quite because this place resembles a war zone - and most avoid war zones !

As  for the league / CL campaign .. believe that I most certainly do.. don't need to come into the war zone to support Liverpool FC.
THE BRENDAN REVOLUTION IS UPON US !

I spent an hour on youtube yesterday watching clips from clerks (not like the DVD isn't downstairs).

That Depeche Mode song brings me back.  LOL I'm 17 and riding on the hockey team van after spending 10 hours on highways after getting our :censored: kicked in Ontario.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

bigmick wrote:This is going to sound pretty strange coming from me, but why is everyone so quiet around here at the moment? Surely it's not because the Mancs managed to beat Fulham who incidently only played half a fecking team this morning as they've got a "Big" match against West Brom at the weekend.
None of us expected them to get anything, so although the Mancs have stretched the lead out to five points and my well stretch it out to eight against Blackburn before we play again, it doesn't change a thing.

Basically, we need to win lots and lots of matches on the bounce, including winning at Old Trafford. If we can do that (and admittedly it's quite a big IF), then we'll see what a good side they are when they're bang under pressure and in the heat of battle. At the moment they are cruising, the football world has got their trousers round their ankles w@nking on about what a good side they are, and teams are beat before they even turn up.

We know what we've got to do though. We've got to stay close enough so we that if we can pr!ck their bubble at Old Trafford, it'll make the old doubts creep in. We maybe behind on points but we've got a punchers chance. Just need to get in close enough though so if we can actually clock em on the chin, it makes em come down.

Whatever though, no need for everyone to stop posting because they beat Fulham reserves.

Im quiet becasue I saw all this coming when we dropped all those points. Now all of a sudden people are realising it is going to be near impossible to catch Utd so they have :censored: all to say about it.

Come on we can do it blah blah blah. Also there hasnt been Prem footy for a few weeks thats why it was quiet.
