Now it came to my mind a tv show that I've started to watch, it's quite old, and it's a british . I think there's a merkin version too, but it's cack. The name of the tv show was Red dwarf, and it's a Space comedy. I find it quite amusing and funny.

JBG wrote:"The World at War" was a brilliant documentary. It even had interviews with old German generals who explained how their strategies and tactics went right and went wrong.

There is a DVD box set out but its very expensive. Love to get it, but hard to justify (just!) spending £100+ on it.

Just had a look on a decent website that gives you the price of nearly any available dvd from many different online shops; here is the link to the website:

Cheap DVD's

I'v already done a search for 'The world at war' JBG and the cheapest they find is just under 60 quid here is the page link for the search results :

Red Dwarf was brilliant.
They have supposedly made a film, but haven't yet released it.

The decline of this wonderful show was due, directly in my opinion, to Chris Barrie disappearing for a series.

To then replace him with the awful character of Christine Kochanski was suicidal.
Chloe Annett who played her, was definately worth one, but Red Dwarf was essentially all about lads trapped in space.
She had no place in it, and although I want them to make a 9th series, I'd emplore the writers (Rob Grant and Doug Naylor) to stick with the series 3-6 line up.

BlackAdder was also a massive hit for me, especially when Ben Elton joined John Curtis in writing it. (Series 2 onwards).

These two are, IMHO, the funniest British comedies of all time.

I have met her in Brisbane, about 2 years ago. She was at a function and my Uncle introduced me to her. Nice Lady, but I can't stand her program.

Totally agree with you jonny; when i caught 24 when it was rerun from the beginning back in the good ol' days on bbc i only had to watch a couple of episodes to get totally hooked on it. I find that it's best to record the whole series (if possible without finding out about what happens) and then watch it all at my own pace 'cos when i see one episode i wanna watch more. 24  :bowdown

At the mo Family Guy is my favouite show; i recently got all of the series on dvd and just got the stewie griffin movie a couple of days
ago, i just can't decide whether to watch what i haven't seen of series 3 yet or the stewie griffin movie first.

Any suggestions lando???

The Stewie Movie is full of stuff TV wouldn't allow.

It is good, but watch it before you watch the rest of series 3, then you won't be disappointed.

Series 3 of Family Guy is the best, hands down.

Lando, I aint seen too many Family Guys (never find it on, although I did see a ad for it on BBC2?), used to catch it every now and then years back when Sky 1 first got it.

But a question I never had awnser is can they hear the baby talk? or is it just the audience?

Scrubs is top quality tv. I like it because if you have a joke every 20 seconds the show can go stale after a while, but with scrubs it could have you in stiches and then within minutes pretending you got something in your eye. Great Show.

Everybody Loves Raymonds pretty good, and some eye candy in there too.

I KNOW it's based in Manchester but I love "Shameless" ...briliantly written and the funniest drama series for ages.

Also has anyone seen "Early Doors" ? Superb witty sitcom set in a pub .......
