what about Pac???

I thought you liked hip hop man.   :D  :no

I've loved hip hop since back in the day but I'm just not a massive pac fan to be honest I liked him about 1995 but I'm sick of him getting over played, now BIG is a man I still love, you can't beat 'Ready to Die'  :bowdown

My top 5 in no particular order are probably
Radiohead-purely original, anyone who says they are balnd are depressing are showing ignorance beyond belief!Just listen to the bends album 3 times and ul be hooked!
Goo goo dolls-A bit cheesy some might say! But a particular album has very sentimental meanings for me and a certain other beautiful person who is no longer around!
U2-Amazing,need say no more! But i will anyway, the Joshua tree, probably one of the greatest albums ever recorded, seen them live at Croke pk a while back!! GREAT live too!
Red hot chilli  peppers-Different,funky,class
Foo fighters-Probably my fave at the moment, great album after great album! The latest being in your honour which i think is pure class! Not to mention Dave grohl and the rest of the boys are probably the most down to earth fellas in rock ith no ego's and they're feet firmly on the ground! Also fu.cking amazing live :buttrock  :nod

Good stuff Barry

The foo fighters new album is superb.  Loved the acoustic cd, just proves what a great band they are, are just as good acoustic as they are electric.

Been into the foos since they got together, never seen them live and that's something I'm making a mission to do before they split up

Lads , I know the Foo Fighters have been around for a long time but I'd never actually listened to them . Based on the strength of your posts I just downloaded a couple of their tunes via Kazza . I'm disappointed   :(  Not exactly new or innovative , they sound just like the Wildhearts (remember them  ? ) . Maybe the tracks I chose weren't the best (Monkey Wrench , Best of You , Everlong  ) perhaps you could throw some track titles my way ?

:)

Woof,

I think monkey wrench and everlong are 2 of the foos best tunes.  They may not be new now but if you'd listened to them about 10yrs ago when those songs first came out you may think differently.  The foo fighters bridged the gap between Nirvana and rock as we know it today, and they didn't stop at that.

I like the wildhearts too but imo they're not in the same league as the foo fighters (I know it's all about taste though)

Apart from those tracks, try Breakout, I'll stick around, Hey johnny Park and Low - they're my favourites
