This is what I said in the initial post in this thread...Im sorry but it is part of her job, sad as it is to say, but thats life!!  She CHOSE to be a policewoman, and Im sorry but it comes with the territory IMO. End of!!

Look, people go into the police nowadays for the paycheque. You dont need any qualifications, not even 5 G.C.S.E's to become one!! And then you want these same people (who could be thick as plank) to have guns!!  Please!

Look, I used to see this girl that I met in a nightclub (this was about 18mnths ago!) for a while and she was a WPC in Hounslow (a london suburb near Heathrow!). Now she was telling me that she only took the job because of the money. Now obvioulsy this doesnt mean all do this, but it gets worse, I asked her (as I was curious...I will explain reason for my curiosity in a moment) what she does when in pursuit of a criminal, and her answer was thus: 'I dont even bother chasing 'em, I dont have to, I will just call back up and let them sort it out, I cant be bothered chasing people'.   And she is being paid with MY TAX MONEY...F*ck that!! 
I was curious and asked, because when she first told me she was a WPC I was totally shocked, and even thought to myself 'If this was back in the day, adn she was chasing me, she wouldnt have the slightest chance in catching me, and if (big IF) I would probably just dash her to the ground and be off, come on an 18yr old girl, cant do anything to a hardened criminal'.

Second example:
I was stopped recently driving (in a Mercedes FFS....wonder why that was??) and in my anger (at being stopped AGAIN!) I asked the officer..'Why in Gods earth are you stopping me, when you could be looking for drug dealers and people brazenly carrying guns on the 'frontline' (area of the estate I live on that is where it all goes down basically, as its on the main road, and there are many guys on the corner shotting {selling drugs}) and here was his reply..word for word:
'F*ck that, I dont want to be stabbed or shot'

What bullsh*t!!  These are the people that are paid through our tax money, yet they are scared of the job and what it entails, and then people wonder what the real reasons are for so much crime these days!  The police dont scare criminals anymore (whereas when I was a little rascal, the sight of them was enough to have me scarpering into the block to hide!).  NOW its the police that are scared...Utter B*llocks!

The police today are not like the previous generation, where their heart was really in it, and they would do anything to serve and protect..Not today!
Im sure the Metropolitan Police in London slogan is 'Making London Safer' (thats without checking their website, so i could be wrong!)......Hmmmmm, yea right!!

Now I have all the sympathy in the world for Sharon Beshenivsky's family, and especially here young children, who have now lost their mother!

But I dont really have any extra sympathy for Sharon herself, than I would for any other person who had been killed.
Its as if people are putting her on a pedastal because she was a WPC....well sorry, not me, that was her job, and what happened, was a realistic part of the job IMO, because guns are getting ever more prevalent.

When it was the Brazilian guy and I was just about the only person sticking up for him, and the majority were showing no compassion for his life at all, you didnt ask for the thread to be locked. You were not so big on the compassion then were you?

Also you mentioned people talking about race, who was doing that, I didnt see it!!  The only person I saw mention anything like that was yourself mentioning 'I wont state their nationality' but at the same time, letting people know (who may have not done so already) that they were not 'English' by saying that, and no doubt you wanted people to pick up on this...but it bodes well for the forum, that they didnt take it into accont and just paid their respects etc;.....So, in essence, you started talking about race/nationality etc;  yet, nobody picked up on this (apart from Lee J, surpise, surprise!!) as it is not important, the womans death was the focal point of the thread anyway, but as I say, you mentioned nationality etc in your initial post (which of course was edited out by a Mod, as there was no need for it) when IMO it has no bearing on the matter. But obviously it mattered to you though!! Which doesnt surprise me in all honesty anyway!!

The fact that the Police woman got shot by 5 asylum seekers is going to rub us brits up the wrong way isnt it? or do you think we should say oh its ok they came from Somalia for a better life, then rob an arabian owned travel agent which the police woman saved that familys life and lost her own life.

No its not, many friends of my family have losts sons some where not even 17, all I am trying to say is we have enough of our own problems in the country without having people from other countries coming in and adding to it more.

Same here, its not reported here either, only really in the Local papers, and at times the Evening Standard.

Ok, I understand where you are coming from, it just seemed as though you were having a go at me, and I agree about problems we have already and all that, but 'our' own also kill/killed police officers too, and at the end of the day (and my main point on this issue) is that Sharon was doing her job, something she was paid to do and fully aware of the possible consequences etc;

But I understand your frustration that the perpetrators are not from here, problem is though, as a WPC, she has to deal with all people, us Brits, and those who are illegal imigrants or asylum seekers etc;

Hey man youre out of order there,thats ignorant if you ask me,and sounds like you have something against the police.
How is it part of her job to be shot dead? Does this happen everyday? I dont think there is a shoot to kill policy against the police in england,if there was they would be armed. Youre saying it comes with the job,as if its a sad part of life but would you also say,a gang of yobs axing another innocent party to death is a part of life? No -its still an evil act against the greater good. A womans life was taken while trying to uphold the law ,yes she knew there would be risks but i dont think for a minute she ever thought shed be murdered or she obviously wouldnt have been there. Regardless of what anyone says about the police -and nobody will tell me different-it takes a brave soul to put on that uniform.
Also, if this was done by a foreigner ,something will have to change in England because as we all know some of these imports are extreme depending on their backgrounds. Recently in Belfast a certain area became flooded by this type and they started to misbehave,dealing drugs  and even claim territory Not a chance, action was taken and it was time to wave them goodbye. People may call that racism or whatever to f.cuk they like but if it means a safer society for my children...then so be it..

In the LFC bits and genreal sections its gone to pot, all people do in genreal discussion is get deep, talk and bring fuc*ing racism into everything, When that thread was 1st put up i think peewee wrote about there being 31 views and only 1 reply, i was one of those who did view and didnt reply, why, because these threads always end up the same in a argument between forum members, so lets fuc*ing grow up on here and keep things simple and take things easier because at the moment people are making this place un fuc*ing bearable to come on, ive been on and off all night and havent seen so much sh!te on it ever, and im not just talking about the 2 in LFC bumping sh!t, everyone doesnt have to write exactly what they think in a thread, especially when your talking about an innocent victims life.
