Haven't got round to it meself but the missis set it up last week and has subsequently got hooked! Just about every bugger i know is on there now! Not quite sure what all the fuss is about. It seems the moment you set one up a million people you haven't seen (or don't want to see!) for 15 years are 'poking you!'

Just set an account up out of curiosity and it scares the shit out of me.  Two of my exes are on there without me searching for them as I still have their e-mail addresses in my Hotmail contacts.  Don't like the idea that I can be contacted so easily by people I don't want to be contacted by. 

I will say one thing though.  Both exes looked quite hot. 

Plus, I don't want my grid plastered all over the internet.  Won't be uploading any photos, or logging in again to be honest.  In fact, I might do to see if I can delete my account.

keep getting e-mails from my mates saying they've "added me as a friend" on facebook. went to have a look at it and it quite frankly bored the sh#t out of me.

Woof, me and the lads in my office have just been blimping one of my exes who's uploaded photos of herself in a swimsuit though.  And no, I'm not showing anyone!!!

It's just not the done thing to do is it?  I'd bet she wouldn't want me slobbering over her on a PC would she?  Still, it didn't stop me and it's her fault for alerting me to it.  Says she's engaged now on her profile.

And on the contrary, I wouldn't want any of my exes trying to contact me, or thinking it was okay to contact me, ESPECIALLY the Mad Hatter I used to live with.  It's just weird and it freaks me out.  I just want my privacy kept.  I don't need Facebook.

Good luck to those who use it though.  It's just not for me.

I've been asked to join several times, but I won't ever. It's like the Auschwitz of internet forums. You have no rights considering pictures and I have read somewhere that once you're in there it's hard as hell to get out of it.

What a load of Tosh this Facebook thing, plenty people i know use it but i can't be bothered. I prefer the old fashioned "join my mates down by the local" thing. That will do me just fine thanks.
