I accidently found this site this morning whilst browsing through it, I thought I was on a Liverpool website as there was more articles about Liverpool than the BS.  Even at the top it had Shankly jokes, so I was really annoyed and emailed them.
I said why is practically your whole site based on liverpool FC, dont you have your own team to talk about, I said teams in europe have class and so do there fans but your website proves you have none what so ever.
i said how dare you mock the dead refering to Bill Shankly, I said our players nor manager have not done you any harm personally so why are you constantly slatting and critising them, my email was long on on these lines.

I even emailed LFCTV cause they have have made a mockery out of that website with badgeman and a mingers.com face on badgeman

Heres the reply I got

We are a little surprised that being a fan who are so
famed for their sense of humour that you seem to have
missed the joke.

Evertonians.net is very much tongue in cheek and if you
read a lot of our content you`ll see we take the ******
out of ourselves just as much as you lot.

Is having a picture of Bill Shankley on our site
disresepctful? I dont think so. But the way your club
shunned the great man until his death is. He states in
his autobiography (not that you will have read it) that
Everton and Evertonians were always far more welcoming
after he retired from the game. He was a frequent
visitor to Evertons Bellefield trainign ground. Only
after his death was he elevated to this legend status
out of desperation on the kopites part. sad but true im
afraid.


Quite why a Liverpool fan would want to browse through
an Everton site is beyong me. But then again, you are a
strange breed...

For every email we receive from an annoyed Kopite we
receive 10 from Everton fans who are quite rightly
****** themselves laughing at you.

Now if that isnt something to be celebrated i dont know
what is??

You're just doing them favours by visiting their garbage site. Their club is so pathetic that they have to talk about us 24/7, bitter for years and counting.

Champions League? It would be a disgrace to see a club of their stature playing in the Champions League. When they lose they  resort to fouling every player possible.

Are they going to bring magic nights to the Champions League? I don't think so. They must think highly of us to talk about us non-stop.

shanks has always been a legend to liverpool fans, this worship happened during his lifetime. what he is referring to is the possibility that the hierachy at liverpool asked bill not to turn up to training because the players still thought of him as the boss, not bob paisley. bill naturally felt hurt and made those comments but he knew the man on the street worshipped the ground he walked on.
tell the lad we dont need to read the books because we were there and actually started supporting football before the advent of sky tv.
