So Israel as a state, who claim to be defending themselves, think it's just to bomb a school full of kids. F*ck em! They are a f*cking disgrace and should be held accountable in some fashion for this transgression.

If I came round to your house and nailed planks to your windows and doors stopping you from leaving or doing anything, you'd be pretty miffed about that, wouldn't you? There is a difference: both claim to be defending themselves, but one is just abusing the power given to them. If a man is oppressed, he'll resort to desperate measures, often foolish ones. Still, you can't expect to oppress people and not have them retaliate in any way they can. There is no justification for what Israel are doing.

Bin Laden is saying the same thing though. Oppression this oppression that. All are as bad as each other!

Disagree.

It's clearly obvious that what is going on in the Palestine is just pure blatant oppression. To erect walls to hem people in, and then cut off supplies. What do you call that? Charity?

I've just read a news article about the bombing and what is going on and this last paragraph struck me:

Information about what is happening inside Gaza is limited as Israel has barred foreign reporters from entering.

Now, I wonder why they'd do that?

If a people have no voice, who will listen to them? Anyway, I'm sure those kids weren't old enough to vote.

Israels message is simple..Hamas stop firing rockets into civilian areas and Israel will lay off!Hamas are bringing this all on their own people..its their fault that this is happening.Israel warned them and warned them to stop with the rockets and still they kept firing them.
Its very sad that innocent people are dying but that unfortunately happens in war.Hamas are living in amongst civilians practically using themas human shields, its their fault that people are dying.Israel cant just keep saying please stop bombing our towns and people because they wont listen.
If Hamas had any sense they'd stop the bombing into Israel, saying that I fear its too late even if they do stop I reckon israel will finish the job now they've gone this far.

I don't think that most of us, as much as we'd like to think we know everything, are really in a position to comment on this.  This has been going on forever, both sides have done terrible things.  And no matter what we say I don't think either side will change their beliefs.

It's the rich versus the poor, or the powerful versus the weak. You are right about not knowing all the facts, but when you have a so called legal state army that practically thinks it has carte blanch over people on the opposite divide, then you're going to have issues. It's a known fact that Israeli soldiers sit in their towers and take pot shots at kids in schools. It's a known fact, that when Israel had occupation of Gazza's borders, that demonstrations, riots etc etc, were met with abuse of power and overuse of force. A kid would throw a stone at a tank, and the tank would respond by firing a shell. Fair?

This is the situation the people of the Palestine have been living under since the conception of the Israeli state some 60 years ago, of which in itself is controversial. The American and British governments are not absolved of any bloodshed currently going on, and has been going on, seeing that it was they that helped create the situation to begin with. It's true that the people of that region have been at war since records began; but at least then the tit-for-tat fighting was at least a level playing field. Compare the living conditions of that of the people in Israel, to that of people in the Palestine. There is a massive stark contrast, and a lot of that falls squarely on Israel's head for keeping the region under siege, cutting off vital supplies. History will dictate that in any such conditions, a revolution or an uprising is inevitable.
