1- McVeigh was a decorated and highly capable soldier. Building a bomb and hiring a truck was no problem for someone like him.

2- He didn't act alone. Terry McNichols (another US army veteran) was convicted of manslaughter for his role in the bombing and given a life sentence. Michael Fortier was also convicted of failing to warn the authorities about the bombing and sentenced to 12 years in prison (he was released two years ago).

3- The daycare center was open. Nineteen children were killed.

I haven't heard anything about the FBI office being closed.

Even if it was, it doesn't necessarily indicate anything sinister.

In these kind of cases, a risk analysis has to be conducted. It would be far more damaging for the FBI to evacuate their own people, but to allow 170 people to die, due to foreknowledge of the bombing, than it would for the FBI to simply themselves be innocent victims.

It such a conspiracy of foreknowledge was exposed, it would be a national scandal and the FBI would be slaughtered by the public. That's why it's simply not a realistic scenario that the FBI would know that the building was going to be bombed and would allow innocent people to die while the FBI were saving themselves.

1- No one has forgotten about Waco, particularly not Timothy McVeigh who cited Waco as a motive for hitting the federal building.

2- I've already shown that he did not act "alone"
