Okay Kewell this car will cost you 36,000 dollars (second hand) roughly about 15,000 pounds. Have imported mate and you'll be the proud owner of a car not seen on the roads of the UK. Holden is Vauxhall moters, well General motors. I dont know the cost of import tax but it would be better than anything Woolly posted up, ALfa's their :censored: mate steer clear of them. Go for a mans car a big V8 none of these rubber band things. :D

How nice is that second hand and you can pick em up for around 15,000 pounds. That would pi$$ over the focus' for looks, speed, room and everything. Apart from fuel.

bamaga dude they do that car in the uk under the vauxhall badge - the monaro, or the loopy version is the monaro vxr. anyway it's been replaced with the new one, can't remember what holden are calling it down under but here it will be the vauxhall vxr8 or something

belting cars but unfortunately V8's don't agree with uk petrol prices too well  :(   classless aussie/american ones also look & feel like schoolboy dogsh*t compared to an italian thoroughbred like an alfa   :rasp

I never saw them in the UK I thought they had a totally different range from the the UK to Oz. Exactly the reason being fuel consumption.

the monaro is the only one they brought over to the uk. seen a few on the roads but they're pretty rare. top gear loved them, but the fuel bills will be matched only by the crippling depreciation of a working class car with an upper class pricetag

Well if your looking at European cars, I'd opt for German engineering any day over Italian apart from the Ferrari of course but I think that maybe out of Kewells league in terms of money.

Import them !

It would be cheaper, Aussie dollar to pound and all that.

german engineering is just too dull mate, unless you're after a bmw "m" car or an ausi rs

they might be more reliable & last longer than an italian, but that's all irrelevant if it's bored you to your grave with its dullness within a year. i've had a bmw & 2 audis and as nice as they were they can't hold a candle to the alfa in terms of the grin factor & joy of driving. and as for performance well the alfa absolutely annihilates the 2 audis    i know alfas aren't for everybody and they can be a bit of an acquired taste but if you "get" them then nothing else even comes close for the  money

mate i would go for the german cars BMW my dad has the new 535D and has had it de-restricted so the top end out of his diesel has gone from 155mph to 175mph but he has it remapped witch limits it to only 500llb of torque (he has this in writing on his number plate) it is a monster i went to north wales with him today and we bladdered a scooby big time and on the way home a M3 was beastin it on the a55 and his is restricted to 160 so as we cruise past him in our diesel you can imagine his face (or i can show you on my phone if you want) pure class check out the new 535D spec bladdy lavely car makes yer sick when it takes off with all that torque

I would of brought a Landcruiser but it was a bit out of my price range at the time, so instead I brought the Toyota 4runner, mid size fourby. Not a bad little motor, 2.8 D lacks a bit of pulling power to say the least but the grunt is their. I've taken it on some pretty rough trips, sand, Water, mud and I'm happy to say it passed the test drove it from Brisbane to Bamaga, around 3300 Kms those those diesels run forever. Tough little bug.ger it is.

Heres a picture of it :)

Go for the new Civic type-R. nothing to touch it for that price, when you consider build-quality and looks.

Aside from the technical data (which is well documented) the interior is the best I have ever seen in any car anywhere ever,

If you can afford one - get one. You'll f*ck a Focus all over the road.
