Found this quite amusing....

"Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then travelling home grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV with a glass of French wine"

very true......We are such a multi racial society nowadays,i cant say apart from fish and chips what you can really class as British.

I read in a lonely planet book that the English/British are well known for talking to there pets, crazy huh I think they think we are a nation of animal lovers

It also said the British had a facination with queing.

Plus another typical type of Britishness is talking about the weather

Only because we stopped (in most instances) that old British tradition of going to sunny climes kicking the sh'it out of the natives and ruling the surviving inhabitants with a rod of iron .
