It's a real mess.
Labour have pretty much run out of steam.
Blair basically committed career suicide when he chose to send British troops into Iraq and politically I don't really think he's accomplished much. The health service is inefficient and cumbersome. Too much power in this country is centralised. Crime and anti-social behaviour are unpunished. Estates are neglected. Judges are weak and lenient which destroys public confidence in the legal system. People are being taxed to death for inferior public services and OAP's are put in jail for non-payment of council tax (which is a wasted tax anyway since the local councils are largely ineffective).
Blair's government are tired and out of ideas. Prescott is a disgrace as Deputy PM (a position which should be abolished), Blair's cabinet are useless and new blood is neeeded. I'm not too impressed by Gordon Brown. The "dour Scottish accountant" image works fine for a Chancellor but not as the leader of a country. The Tories are a joke. Even they don't know what they stand for. Their big ideas recently have been to 1) visit a glacier 2) ride a bike 3) adopt a tree as the party symbol 4) watch David Cameron on a weblog. The Lib-Dems are a waste of time. They went from a ginger Crankie as their leader to Minger Campbell, age 184.
