**Satire**

Man Utd keeper Roy Carroll saved the hide of his team once again in a superb show of athleticism and illusion. What looked to be a certain goal, Carroll, defying the law of physics, bends the chalk goaline in is what to be said as the 'greatest stop ever in recorded history'. What seemed as a perfect goal with the ball at least 1 metre in from the line was whistled as play-on.

Here we have a still image of the save.

seen it b4. however, tracing roy carrolls family tree, it would appear that he is distantly related to paul daniels, harry houdini and yuri geller. furthermore, he was the little boy outside the prison camp in the film entitled 'the great escape'

Carroll made a "great" save against Lyon in the Champions League, not quite as bad as this one but close enough

Jol defended Carroll for not admitting Mendes scored a legitimate goal.

"Can you imagine Carroll would tell everyone it's a goal? It's unimaginable.

"It's the same with a penalty or foul. Maybe he thought it wasn't a goal."

And despite Carroll has been criticised in some quarters, Jol said he would expect his own goalkeeper to behave in the same manner as Carroll...!!!
