Another doping case, in this case it was the horse the one to be under drugs. The rider is german, and his horse Coester was doped.

The horse was seen snorting cocaine too.

As someone's said above, he's not get the physique or attitude to suggest he's juicing but the question will be asked just because of how comfortably he's done the near impossible: blown the fields away in both the 100 and 200--clear daylight between him and the silver medalist in each--and broken world records in both...one at a canter by the end.  As I've said, though, I want to believe he's clean and will do so until proven otherwise.  I also like all the smiling and joking he does.  Someone's called him cocky but all sprinters are (have to be, even) and it beats the usual snarling and posturing we see from these pace merchants. :D

Oh, and he gives a great interview.  A Canadian interviewer asked him what he thought of people criticizing him for easing up in the 100M final and his response was that everybody celebrates when they know they've won and, at the Olympics, it's about winning gold not breaking WRs.  Maybe, but I think he was also keeping something in the tank for the 200 so that he could go flat out and have a shot at Michael Johnson's vaunted record.  Johnson's been talking a lot of trash about Bolt's ability to beat the record and I'm think the young lad just decided to show everyone just how superior he is. :nod

spot on .  :nod , he's got every right to be happy with his performance .

Everything Michael Johnson says he does while thinking "Sue...what's the deal with your neck?"

I didn't mean to suggest he had questioned Bolt's ability, mate.  I just heard that he'd said that there was no way Bolt would beat his WR in the 200M.

Of course, I may be slightly biased against Johnson, as he was spouting a lot of rubbish after the Atlanta Games about how he was the world's fastest man despite Donovan Bailey's WR, gold-medal run in the 100M.  As it turned out, Bailey invited him up to Toronto for a head-to-head run off the following spring: 150M race, with 75M of curved track and a 75M straightaway.  Bailey won the race easily, with Johnson "pulling up" with some phantom injury after Bailey surged ahead on the straightaway.  Johnson never claimed to be the World's Fastest Man after that! :D

Michael Johnson said live on the BBC, words to the effect; "Bolt could beat my world record, and he probably will at some point, but I'm not sure he'll do it here".
He definitely 100% didn't say; "There's no way Bolt will beat my world record" and was in no way derogatory/dismissive of Bolts ability to break the WR.

To sum up, Bad Bob is definitely 100% biased.  :D

No, that was Ben Johnson in Seoul in '88.  Bailey was the clean Canadian gold-medal sprinter! :D

There are many things being said about Bolt. To summarise, it's three kind of comments.

a) Everyone agrees what he has done is awesome

b) Some runners are saying that he shouldn't be that arrogant and should respect their rivals more.

c) Some press and some runners, like that German who said the situation is a joke, are pointing him as a cheater because doping.

With b) I can agree, maybe he's a bit too much of a showman.

But c) is something I don't find acceptable as he's been controlled as anyone else. Accusing him of that like the German or some press did is not very sportive, saying that in Jamaica there isn't an anti doping agency to suggest he's doped, is as unfair as saying that Phelps is probably doped, as in USA there are the most advanced labs to make an undetectable doping. That's to accuse without proof, and that's not fair.
