The USA basketball team is a credit for their basket. The so called "Redeem team" is dominating unlike their countrymates in previous olympics. And they have the right attitude. Spain will be able to pose a bit more opposition than others but as we speak, the americans are the best and are a joy to watch.

Hell of a game the other night, mate--Spain winning in over-time against the hosts.  Some quality players in the Spain squad and I think they'll give the US a few problems (but ultimately come up short).

We were very strong about 20 years ago, mate, but that was in the Olympics (know feck all about the Commonwealth games ). Believe it or not, we were also very strong in sprinting in the not so distant past.  We won the 100M gold in Seoul (88) thanks to steroids:




But then managed to win it again cleanly in Atlanta (96)



Both lads were Jamaican by birth, BTW.  The beauty of being a multicultural nation!
