Can you explain the picture Dom please from the "Artists "point of view ? Whats the signifance of the pint of guiness for example and whose the players in the painting

I get exasperated sometimes with Dom with his banal posts and I let him know but occasionally he comes up with a pearler and this is such a post ......... It's indeed scary to think what goes thorugh his young mind

Its an absolute classic painting , up there with Rembrandt, Van gogh , Gogan, Monet and Manet
