Rugby League & Aussie Rules are the two biggest codes. My Dad was an administrator of the game here and I played until I was 17 (played all my junior matches with Craig Johnston who went on to play with some tin pot pommie club), when injury put paid to any apirations I had in the game. I was a reasonable player and was turning out for my local senior team at 15, but nothing to set the world alight.
I'm now Development Manager with my little Tasmanian club (www.klusc.org.au), so trying to bring all the little tackers on and show them what a wonderful game we have.
That's all, nothing too special. I just love the game, and have been a LFC supporter since I used to watch 'Match of the Day' (previous week's game) of a Monday night through the crack in my bedroom door. Emlyn Hughes (I called myself Emlyn for years) was my hero!!!
