Yeah I thought he didn't touch him either. Cheeky little :censored:. Great player though still.

What a shame for Sneijder. What a year it could have been for him after doing the treble.

That was a nice scene just now: Pepe stopping to console Dirk, and Ryan too?

Fingers crossed for Fernando, didn't look good. Was praying he could come on and score the winner.

Had a fiver on Spain to win it and Villa to win the golden Boot before the tournament started but it looks like Ladbrokes have cheated me out of my winnings. Daws (if you read this) I figured if Villa was sharing the Golden Boot that they would still pay out but my odds would have halved? Doesn't seem to be the case coz there's nothing in my account. Cheating cu...n...ts  :veryangry

Just caught some of the RTE commentary - absolutely tearing the ball to shreds.

Completely agree - ruined the football in the world cup.

Congratulations to Spain, well deserved in the end. Webb must be the most relieved man in the stadium, the Spanish media would have crucified him.

I thought Webb was decent tonight, De Jong should have been sent off IMO in the first half.

The best team won, Spain deserved it, congrats to spain congrats to Sabre.

Yeah, noticed that. Nice touch.
Not impressed with Dirk lad saying he felt the ref gave the Spanish more than the Dutch. Truth be told, they shoulda been down to 9 men at half-time.

Agreed with you bungle.. Nigel De Jong should have been sent off in the first half, Holland were very lucky at that stage.

Mate, I can't believe that w@nker van Bommel didn't get sent off the whole world cup.
Bizarrely, due to the fact that I used to despise him, and not just over his anti-LFC comments, I felt a bit sorry for Robben this eve. He deserved more than a losers medal. He was the only creative and non-cynical player the dutch had tonight.
But van Bommel, de Jong, Heitinga.....all those kuntz conspired to lose the Dutch the final.....bad, bad, bad example to kids....

The thing is, the dutch now will blame the ref for loosing the final... and if Spain lost they would have also blamed the ref...

Webb wasn't that bad, I thought he was decent in his decisions, he should have sent off De Jong and Netherlands should count themselves lucky! Robben had a brilliant game for them, but then again your playing against a team that has a world class keeper.

Brazilian tv saw it different to you lads, slammed the ref, slammed spain for constantly trying to get dutch booked and sent off, and had teh courage to admit it was a cr@p game.

So much diving, feigning injury..... 2010 the year FIFA lost control of football.

Sad end to a great world cup, the better side did not win. No one wants the WC final to go to penalties but it would have been a fairer outcome for this game.

Sad for Dirk.
