fair to say its a little bit in Barcelona's favour then :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Well Barca only drew away at Chicken Goujons tonight, and were behind for a fair part of the game befire a sublime David Villa chip with about 10mins left gained the champions a point. Arsenal may be able to summon up a sliver of hope between now and 19:45 Wednesday, which will be swiftly extinguished when Barca hit about 6 past them by about 20:10 :D

Real Madrid chalked up a great 1-0 away win at Espanyol despite playing 88mins with 10 men after Casillas was sent off. Adebayor also showed why City were so eagar to get shot of him by missing about 9 sitters that should have wrapped the game up.

They played the first 45mins with no left back! They had Abidal play cb and cover the left. They brought Maxwell on about 10mins ago to cover the position and took off MAscherano, who was pish :D

FAKE EDIT: Messis just scored

Was a good game, everyone had their heart in there mouths though at the end of the first half when Messi hit the deck clutchin his knee. I guarantee that around the same time Jose Mourinho was down on both of his!

Makes me laugh when people in this country deride La Liga because Barca and Madrid are so dominant. That Sevilla-Barca game last night was better than any game I've seen in the Premiership all season.

after liverpool play sunderland there's another must win game today. sporting gijon play almeria at home, the slightly less ramshackle than it was a few weeks ago molinon. one of the scruffiest but noisiest stadiums you'll ever see.

sporting are one place above the relegation places in 17th, 3 points above almeria who are 18th. its a proper 6 pointer, and if zaragoza and racing don't win today they'll leap 3 or 4 places up the table.

by the time i get there after the liverpool game i'll be half píssed probably. its going to be loads of fun.
