Angulo scored an awesome goal for Valencia.

The distance from Angulo to the goal was about twelve miles.

Sevilla -4- Deportivo -0-

Sevilla put daylight between themselves and the chasing pack with a win over Deportivo La Coruna, while Real Madrid were thumped at home by Recreativo De Huelva.

Sevilla have been in excellent form all season and they heaped more misery on struggling Depor.

Former Tottenham man Fredi Kanoute scored twice, while Luis Fabiano and Daniel Alves helped themselves to goals as Depor were cut to shreds.

It was a great result for Recreativo. But it was sad night for them, in that several of their fans died in a coach crash on the way to the game  :(

Murph, what the hell happened to Valencia? They started off so well with Nando banging in the goals. Joaquin isn't doing much is he?

They started off really well, but injuries have cost them any real chance this season. Those that i can remember are Miguel, Villa, Morientes, Edu, Regueiro and Gavilan. Although at one stage had upto 9 players out.

They're starting to hit abit of form again now though, and have got themselves back into the hunt for Europe next season.

Sigh, we have had injuries to key players this season and haven't coped well without most our of first teamers. It's a real shame because Valencia was buzzing when we signed Morientes and Joaquin. I think we can get third or fourth, but second and first is a tie between Barcelona and Sevilla.

I'm happy we are getting Reina in Jan!   :)

Yes, it does seem that what, the other big concern for Real is whether Beckham will sign a new contract, Madrid could be looking for new midfielders in January.  :D
