Things now stand pretty much as they did at the start of play.

R.Madrid - 73pts.
Barca - 73pts.
Sevilla - 71pts.

Next week:

Real Madrid V Mallorca
Gimnastic de Tarregona  V Barcelona
Sevilla V Villareal

Madrid are in the box seat (unfortunately  ) as they have the better head to head record vs. Barcelona. I honestly think that barca have blown their chance tonight.

They both have easy games, Madrid @ home against Mallorca, and Barcelona away against Gimnastic. I can't see either of them dropping points tbh.

How many games do Barcelona throw away chances. It has happened so many times at the camp nou this season.

3 sides with a chance of winning the title on the last day.  That never happens.

Amazing night. I think Real will do it now. Just one more win.

Messi's first goal was a disgrace.

VERY EXCITING LA LIGA THIS YEAR!

Messi= I'm very dissapointed in him, he is turning out to be a tw@t.

disgraceful goal, and disgraceful referieng.

as for Real Madrid game.. i think RVN won Real Madrid's title this year (if they win next game). Real madrid were shaky in the whole game until the last 15 minutes of the game.

Aimar= is class! did you see him in the second zaragoza goal? was pure quality.

and Guti's pass to set up the second real madrid goal.. absolutely quality, i mean his passes are sublime, A Plan B player, can change a game in an instant.

For Atletico Madrid to win any title there has to be a lot of circumstances, one of them is the alineation of Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune with the Sun, and I'm afarid that just happens occasionally.  :D

Real Oviedo will win La Liga next year.
